I knew nothing about Type 0 before picking this up and I'm having a blast with it. It's tough, but not too tough. The story is all over the place, but it's a lot darker than usual and it's a neat change of pace for FF. If you are in dire need of a good RPG, you could do a lot worse. I say go for it.

People really think that New Vegas was better than Fallout 3? I thought it was generally accepted that Fallout 3 was the better one and New Vegas was just using the same assets with a new story (that was just as good as Fallout 3's, if not better.) While I wouldn't be crushed that Obsidian would be making a new Fallout, I would be disappointed with the amazing job Bethesda did with 3. If this is truly Fallout 4 though, it's going to be Bethesda. I have a feeling they will be handling the numbered releases and Obsidian, if they make another game, will use assets and make an offshoot game like NV.

I don't think length matters at all in a game. What matters if the quality. People who are knocking it for the length are stuck on the wrong point. If anything, knock the story or the way it's told. That paints a better picture. Just saying, "it's short...that's bad" is a very uninformed way of reviewing a game. The verge review was the best one I've read so far. They basically said it's a refreshing experience because it tells a decent story in a wonderful world in a very linear fashion...something that isn't done much today in the world of open world games. I can get on board with that.

I played the demo and thought it was unplayable with no second stick, completely unsold me on getting my first Monster Hunter game. Now if I get a N3DS someday I'll buy MH4U along side it.

I don't think it's a barrier, it just makes the game that much better. Using the left shoulder button isn't game breaking or anything, it's just not ideal. So, if you were really looking forward to play a MH game, this is the best one and I think it's definitely playable without the C-Stick, it's just not as good without it. With the breadth of games coming out for the 3ds, Zelda and MH included, I think the new 3ds is a worthwhile investment.

The first time I played with the c stick, I thought it was dumb. After a weekend with the 3ds, I can't imagine playing a 3ds without it. In monster hunter, it's awesome. Once you get used to it (and it does take some time) it's an awesome addition and I like it much more than just using that awkward contraption they released previously, the addon thing with the extra control stick.

Maybe keep playing the game until they level again to see if maybe it's just a graphics bug? If they level again and you still can't level them up, then something is definitely wrong.

I probably shouldn't have said "gaming" laptop. I'm looking for a laptop that can play indie steam games and World of Warcraft. That's about it. We need a laptop to begin with, but I just want to make sure, for the price, that I get one that can play some low intensive games and World of Warcraft. I have a gaming PC already, so no need there. I'm just looking for the best laptop I can get for around 500-600 bucks that can also play some games. I really shouldn't have said gaming laptop, my bad.

So far, this seems to be the one I'm leaning towards since it has an nvidia card and seems like a decent enough laptop. Again, only going to be putting WoW and maybe some indie steam games on it. Nothing like Far Cry 4. I have my gaming PC for that. We just need a laptop and I want to make sure I get a good one.

Well, then forget I said Dark Souls. That was just something that came to mind. I'm trying to find a laptop in that range (around 500) that could handle some older games. For instance, this site lists some but I don't know what would be good and what isn't.

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a laptop for my wife and I to use but I want it to be able to play some games. I'm not talking about Battlefield 4 at 60FPS, but I'd love if it could play World of Warcraft, maybe Dark Souls, indie steam games stuff like that. I have absolutely no idea what to look for, but I don't want to go above 500-600. Do you guys know of the best laptops that would allow me to also play some games on it? Any brands to look for?

Thanks duders.
