@tafae: The Recaro seats are an absolute must in the Fiesta. When I test drove the standard seats, they sit very low and kept snagging this weird plastic shield on the side of the seat. Also kind of dug in. The bucket seats of the Recaro got rid of that bullshit. Extremely bad idea to go normal seats without trying the bucket seats.

Can't beat the Fiesta ST. Absolutely love mine. Its got the pep in its step and the fuel economy you are looking for.

It doesn't have much in terms of sound system, but you should have plenty left over to dump in however much you want.

Ugh... I hope amazon doesn't screw me over again on preorders. Last night the wheel went out of preorder to temporarily out of stock. No email yet of whether it shipped or if I have to wait.

I still have 2 pop figures that I preordered that still have not got back in stock. Hope this wheel isn't a month wait...

Extremely glad you got yours working. My fingers are crossed that my install goes smoothly. Though I did not download the game, I have been looking at their in-game install screen for the past hour and half. It went from 240,340, 480, 1100, 1200, 400, 340 approximate minutes for the first 10 minutes of the install before randomly dropping to 8. For the past hour it has said "Approx 5 mins left" with only 15% of the bar filled in.

I keep reading and hope that doing the updates first (which took half of today's NASCAR race in length) doesn't come back to bite me in the ass.

I am dumbfounded at how bad this. Would much rather play Forza as I loved that series, but had a wild idea to set the PS3 up in my cockpit and try it with the G27. Hopefully GT6 doesn't ruin my fond memories for this series back on the PSX and PS2....

Update: 40 minutes later and the bar is now at 40% complete with still 5 minutes left... I really wish I knew what the hell this thing was doing.

Wow... 12 years after I initially installed this game and lost a good 3 solid years of my life, it still uses the same piece of shit login and update system?

I remember when huge updates would come out.

• "Crap, I can't play today. Everything is down for maintenance."
• "Sweet, servers are back up. Let's download!"
• "8 hours!? Fuck me...."
• 5 hours in... "God dammit, the download is stuck. Maybe it will kick back in...."
• An hour later.... "I hate you Square. Make me start this damn thing all over again as it validates my current files for an entire hour before downloading. Update your shit!"

Looks like AdBlockPlus is the cause of my issue for not playing videos.

Need to add a custom filter in order to allow the static.giantbomb.com javascript files. Just put the following in the filters.

Normally about $50-$100 a month. However, I have recently submitted to the spell that is iRacing. If I play my cards right, less than that, but a lot more upfront when new seasons start and I need to buy tracks.

Hardware on the other hand..... damn you simracing!!!

Really like this game, but a little too buggy to keep on playing until the next update. I never had an issue with co-driver, but love how the "Pause" just closes the game. It also doesn't save any of my controls so I need to set them up every time. Not really painful, but in combination with the former, it is.

Hope they spend some time on FFB; it just feels weird.

Extremely excited for this game though once they give the wheel some love and polishing.

@believer258: Man, I miss Funcoland. Aside from the weird multi-game Genesis at Target, there was nowhere else you could actually try the damn game before you bought it.

Also I got really excited when they would give me enough cash to buy new games by getting rid of my old ones. Now I just call myself an idiot for doing it, but it sure was great when I did it. I didn't feel like I was getting bent over like I would now if I were to try to take a game to GameStop today.
