maybe they just underestimated how much work it would take to get the game going, after all as far as I remember the concept itself was already wild enough ( some players playing as dragons, surviving and whatnot, and other people playing as humans with a market that would be influenced by the players themselves, hunting and getting better and better gear. to be honest, the human aspect could be a whole game by itself. ), so I'm assuming they just decided to quietly cancel the game and hope most people didn't notice, as as far as I'm aware, barely anyone seems to have noticed, so I guess it worked.
