Well I find beer disgusting. When I go out I prefer Bicardi and Coke, or sometimes Jagerbombs. And there is a really big difference between drinking to get drunk and drinking wine.

Welcome Home is pretty cool, but we've played it to death. The notes going up and down the fretboard trip me up like crazy though... I'm not sure why. I can play a lot of songs on expert (and even the rest of Welcome Home), but those scales just kill me.

I like "And Justice for All" but my band members object to it's length. The one Fall Out Boy is pretty cool too...I forget the name, but it's nice.

Either the Science Channel, the local PBS station, or IFC.

Alright I bought:

Campo Viejo Rioja 2003 (not sure)
Casillero del Diablo Merlot 2006 (Chile)
Sebeka Chardonnay 2007 (South Africa)

I'll give one a try tonight after class...Not sure which... I might save the 'older' one for an actual occasion or something. Not that it's very old, but it's the oldest one I found at the store I went to.

Where do you get older wines? I just went to a Wine and Spirits store...

No, his songs are absolutely epic. They are awesome and full of adrenaline. I love the repetitious style he crafted so well, it's not only catchy but it's done in the style of 'fight talking'. You know, if you ever see two guys get in a fight, when they instigate it they basically talk how Lil' Jon raps, and that's what his music is. Fight music / club music that gets you amped up for whatever your doing.

So since turning 21 this summer I have yet to buy any wine, and I was thinking of picking something up between classes this evening. I was just wondering what is recommended in a budget price range (and anyway I've seen blind taste tests on daytime news shows that have shown that in many cases 'cheap' wine tastes just like the expensive variants). I know absolutely nothing about wine, so anything you can tell me would be appreciated.

I was just doing some reading for class that mentioned wine, and thought 'hey I want to get some wine!' LOL.

I'm not excited about motion capabilities. I've played with a Wii (the with signifying my view of it as a toy) and although it was fun for awhile, I'll never want to sit down and play games on it. The only times I've ever wanted to play it is when we visited my cousin; we'd all play the Wii Sports and Wii Play and whatever the heck else variety games there are, and they were cool to pass time.

But then came Rock Band and we haven't touched the Wii since. That's the new (and better) social game.

So as for motion control in games, I'm not excited about that either. I don't think it really contributes much, and will probably make gaming feel less involved, and more gimicky, instead of being wrapped up in gameplay tightly gripping my 360 controller on the edge of my seat fingers on the triggers, I'd be playing with the controller position and crap (if that makes sense). I like it fine the way it is

Most definitely. That new song that got leaked was a joke."
Which song? Cyanide? I heard a live version of that on XM Mandatory Metallica and it was indeed a joke. The Day that Never Comes is acceptable (though annoying it is better than Load-St.Anger...maybe even Black Album-St.Anger...somewhat)

I'm finding it hard to believe how so many fans are engrossed by the new material. I mean Metallica's MySpace comments are all like "OMG this stuff is like their 80's stuff"....UM no it is not anything like their 80's stuff. Well anyway I got unfriended by whoever runs the Metallica page (and subsequently friended Megadeth in retaliation) for trying to refute all the mindless love of the new material. It's not great material, and in no way is it as good as their 80's music.

At least Dave Mustaine can still sing metal.
