Since they spent so much money buying studios all at once it would probably be 3+ years before they would see any real return on those investments if they all were asked to make Embracer funded games.
By having a large portion of the studios work for hire they can get some stability while waiting for their big projects to hatch. As things normalize in that org having low risk low return work would be less needed.

@99bajakid: Brad has stuck with a crappy old 1080p TV for an inexplicably long time now. And a lot of his commentary on how PS4 Pro and X1X games look in the past four years has been pretty useless because of it.
Because Brad is literally the only person on the planet without a 4k hdr tv?
@demonsoul: The game was made by both n-space and digital extremes, and DE is still working on it, last update to the steam version was made 13 days ago. While I haven't played it in a while the recent reviews don't look too good
