What about those of us who have premium but prefer the free podcast?

Yes a PS2 many years ago but I was the asshole that went in with one of each type of disc media the PS2 supported and tested 3-4 consoles before finding one that read everything. The PS2 was a total crapshoot on the used market so the effort was worth it to me at the time.

Ehh it pushes the "too shitty" line for me but stays on the clean side of "exploit". It's a total dick move but fair game.

That video is great though. I very much prefer Patrick's slightly unhinged descent into madness character to Dan's played out heel shtick.

This should probably just be stickied. Especially when there's a sale going on.

Good for her to find some benefit out of this beyond massive attention for all the wrong reasons. She really had to name it Crash Override though? Sigh.

Knowing about the whole tastes changing with age thing I made an effort in my 20's to retry thing I knew I hated as a kid. Turned out I had come to like tomatoes, onions, and fish (in sushi form, still don't like cooked fish for some reason). Hell I'm in my 30's now and just learned this year that I like mustard now! I've entered a whole new dimension for hot dogs and soft pretzels!

Pickles continue to be fucking awful.

Hmm I missed that bit in the original post. If it's running in standard VGA with the drivers uninstalled then it may just not be loading up the card enough to trigger the failed components. You could try something like DDU (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) to powerwash away any driver/utility remnants before reinstalling the Radeon drivers. I had to do this for my Nvidia card when upgrading to Win10. The fact that the other card has continued working still makes my hardware failure senses tingle but it's worth a shot!

Also totally blame GBEast, especially Vinny, you saw that guy build a PC didn't you? That shit spreads man I'm telling you.

It sounds like you've pretty well narrowed it down. Running release drivers it locks up with the 6970 installed, doesn't lock up with the 6970 removed. You could make sure the card's fans are spinning and it's not a block of dust, or testing that card in another PC, but it appears you're looking pretty squarely at a failed GPU. Sorry :(

I really enjoyed Fallout 3 and New Vegas, especially after adding the Wanderers Edition and Project Nevada mods respectively. It was disturbingly easy to lose myself in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim though even before modding the crap out of them.

Fallout is cool and all but TES is where it's at.
