I really wish Drew would go over all the development items so they would be marked as read. The "99" icon really bothers me. Just one time, please god.
I can not get those "New" notifications to go away consistently. Same with the new staff. Just viewing them doesn't seem to do the trick. Do I have to pause on each item for a certain number of seconds?
For developments, all you have to do is move your cursor over items with a blinking dot next to them. They'll go away once you do that.
I dunno how many people know this, but there's a semi-automatic tranq gun researchable. It's a Burkov converted into shooting tranqs, so you can just pop off tranqs as fast as you can fire with the accuracy and silence of the default tranq gun.
Not only is the range way worse on the Burkov Tranq though (a difference of 20 or more meters), but the bullets aren't as effective (takes longer to pass out from body shots). Don't really get all the love for it in the comments. Plus the WU Pistol is really predicable with regards to the dart's drop and isn't actually affected by wind and stuff, just distance. Just get enough practice in with it and you can pop instant KO headshots from 100+ meters away all the time.
Well, my primary was the silenced tranq sniper that I used almost 100% of the time after researching it. Once they got within 20m I would switch to the Burkov and make him go beddy bye.

Just a reminder, Activision owns World of Warcraft, which is chock full of microtransactions that don't affect the gameplay at all. I don't think this transition is going to hamper the gameplay of Destiny either.
Also, boosts already exist in the game, remember? Red Bull codes give you double XP.
@humanity: It's "adds", as in additional enemies, not ads. It's specifically for when more mobs come in during a boss fight, usually called an add wave. Used a LOT in WoW, so it bleeds over.
