The way Abby dismisses all the info screens from researching stuff drives me insane! Loving this series though.
Yep. I think she wants to play it as an action game... at least allow the viewers enough time to read the info. I've not played the game with the Enemy Within expansion and feel it would add to the enjoyment if I could understand all the poor decisions being made.
I'm finding the Abby episodes the hardest to watch. Not because she's failing missions, but because she doesn't seem to know the controls very well, and doesn't seem interested in learning how the game works, beyond the very basics. I kind of feel like I'm watching her play the game for the first time every time it's her episode.
Was hoping they had a Day After Labor Day episode, but no luck.
The real issue with these guys is they have no real leader. I would have thought that Jeff would by default have been their leader, but he doesn't seem interested in that in PUBG.
The most entertaining team would be Vinny (host), Dan, Abby and Ben.
I think if they're ever going to chicken, they definitely need much better teamwork. Dan is a fine teammate IF everyone plays to him, always. I don't think that's 100% possible in squads, though, as that's 4 sets of loot to get. In duos with his wife, I'm sure they work very well together, though.
If you watch someone like Will Smith, when he's with new teammates, when they play to him they tend to do well (he's usually the best player in the group). When he's with his regular group, they know each other so well that it's second nature for them to play well as a team.
I do think Dan is probably the best, overall, at this game. Of this group. But a terrible teammate as things stand. But I think that's because he either needs to be the leader (probably not the best idea) or there needs to be a leader in the group to reign him in (better idea). Neither of those are present, though.
I'd probably go with Vinny (host), Dan, Jeff and Brad if the goal is to win chicken. If they could work well as a team with a proper leader (I'd nominate Jeff).
I continue to hold out hope that a squad of Jeff Brad Vinny Alex aka the Core 4 is the best chance at getting a chicken dinner. Respect for Ben for almost taking out a 3 dude squad. Abby's waldo shirt game is legit.
I think for a chicken dinner you need Dan on the team. Not because he's always amazing, but because he's occasionally brilliant. But he should definitely NOT be the host. Ever.
He'll go out and loot, and if he doesn't die, will have amazing stuff. The other 3 need to be a surviving team, and I think that's likely Brad, Jeff and Vinny. Basically 3 protect 1 (ha, Dota!).
For a win, I think Alex plays way too safe. Ben is a great driver, but way to unpredictable.
