I was watching the Channel 4 news when it happened. They were taken by surprise - they had completely ruled out the chances of this very thing happening earlier in the show.  

John Prescott was there being interviewed and John Snow was commenting on this historic moment as Brown drove down to Buckingham palace to resign as the leader of the country and the labour party, Snow was trying to amp up the gravitas of the situation however he could as the helicopter fed through images of the top of the cars and Prescott kept cutting in with his normal charming comments, Old Labour through and through, shouting about the Tories and the Liberals and swearing, "by God!" to Oppose them whatever they come up with-  it was awesome, complete lack of appreciation for the occasion  - gotta love Prescott.  

Wow I got this wrong. I feel kinda stupid. I must have heard wrong, on the podcast maybe, or read it wrong on Kotaku or something, but I got a little bit excited about a game called "People can Fly". I have been thinking this game is coming out for about 6 months now if I remember correctly!  
I was a little bit heartbroken when I realised, whilst listening (with full attention this time) to this weeks podcast, that People Can Fly is a company name, not a game.

What made this imaginary game more exciting to me was the fact that it sounded like this was some sort of code name! I remember Jeff said in an earlier Bombcast "..that People can fly game" - obviously talking about Bulletstorm before it had its current name - but it sounded like all we knew of this mysterious game was that people were going to fucking fly!   
 
Dammit. oh well, Bulletstorm then.  
This is especially stupid, I realise, because I am a member of this rather fine website all about video games. Which has, like, a search bar and a wiki and stuff.
I will definitely look into mysterious awesome sounding games more in the future I think. 

I had a Lynx, many moons ago. I am not going to be much help to you though, as the only game I can remember playing on the thing is one you already have, Dracula: the undead which I have fond memories of. It was a spooky adventure game with great atmosphere. So I recommend you give that a play.  
 
I believe there was a bombcast where Jeff talked about his memories of the Lynx, so maybe go back and try to find that, he may have made some recommendations. 
 
Have fun with it! I wish I could remember what happened to mine -  looking at the dracula page has bought on a nostalgia attack and I want to go back and check it out again. 

I have complained to ITV about this bullshit also. Gah TV makes me so angry! Plus its Titchmarsh.  I have always hated Titchmarsh since I was forced to watch Gardeners World as a child.
On a show like this what is the point of having this argument? In what way is it relevant to anything? This is a show that goes out to a large tea time audience of middle class middle aged folk with kids.This would have been a good opportunity to discuss what kids are playing, what games are safe, how we can protect our children from stuff they aren't meant to play etc  - but no, the responsible adults dont want to hear about prevention, the only cure is to BAN THIS FILTH and be done with it.  The guy from CVG was just pissing into the wind on this show.

By putting the word "true" in front of anything they are just implying that all other motion controls are somehow "fake" which seems stupid. Maybe they should start saying "feels more truthy" 

bloody stream is not working properly for me, stupid internet. I will watch a live blog instead. or maybe goto bed and read about this in a nice easy write up tomorrow... hmm

I've been playing it and the first 30 minute play through just flew by. I grappled people to each other, I grappled onto cars, I grappled people onto cars and then drove them. I was hugely impressed by how fun the game was to mess around in. My flat mate is just playing through now and just found a helicopter, which quickly got blown up by a second helicopter! awesome stuff so far, they have just given us a little sandbox to have fun in.

It seems that the more "chaos" we unlock he more missions we can do, but I dont think we are too fussed on the missions just yet. Looks like this demo may get a lot more play time than anything else over the next week or so.
