it was pretty obvious the characters were holding cards in the teaser trailer, so dunno why some folks are taking it as much of a surprise. a personality-driven poker game is pretty freaking sweet, especially when they are a distinct bunch as they've assembled here.
i knew about the transition to playing Jack while researching the "I Know You" Stranger Mission, but that last shot with the title logo in red was so freaking awesome.
Say what you will about Jack, but I smiled when I skinned an animal and Jack goes " Just like you taught me, Pa " . John Marston may be gone, but he will definitely not be forgotten.
Finally got round to getting this game, very impressed by the production values but the hook is the more modern approach to the gameplay. Feels so good to move around as Old Snake in this game. still getting to grips with CQC, though.
i like to think that the PS2's longevity is partly due to the Dreamcast's failure to resonate with the mainstream. and yeah, already played Persona 4, so my PS2 Fat is stored up. unless of course, i find a cheap copy of Yakuza 2 ...
a HD version of MvC2 would totally rock; not a remix, though, as that implies an art style change and there's nothing wrong with the art style in MvC2. hopefully Marvel Entertainment will recognize the brilliance of this game and work with Capcom to make it happen.
