@efesell: i have been getting pretty bad framerate on the open courses, especially if it's one of the bonus ones at peak player time. fortunately when you hit X to start taking your shot the game freezes the world so the low framerate doesn't affect the timing on that at all.
also re: the turf warp tokens, each open course will have items laying around one hole. it refreshes daily and you can pick up a bunch of coins and usually one or two warp tokens. it's not great that you cna just straight up buy them with real money, but it's not as terrible as it could have been (imo).
this was really good! gb multiplayer stuff (things like mario party party etc) is always a lot of fun. board/roleplay games are fun too and i think this benefited a lot from being rules-light (as opposed to something where checking character sheets and roll tables would get in the way of chemistry). hope yall feel like doing more in the future!
