I don't think you have to watch OG Gundam to get Gundam. There is so much out there and they are there own stories. To me some Gundam is visually very hard to watch. My recommendation would be both seasons of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 that ran from 2007-09.
The way I pick fighting game characters is 1st finding out the ones that are on the easier side, cause I personally I don't want to spend a ton of time learning the character and I don't invest all my time with fighting games. Plus I am no quick young buck.
Then choosing those that I like the design of.
Finally trying out those that met those 2 and seeing who I am enjoy the most.
UNIEL may have a great tutorial/trainer, but it's a more advanced game.
Don't worry a ton about frame data. There's pros that don't even bother with it and are do fairly well. I believe Punk still doesn't bother with frame data.
My main problem is in a usual Quick Look they concentrate mostly about the game. Whereas in UPF it gets talked about for a bit, then they just start shooting the shit while the game is played in the background.
Pistol Whip and Thrill of the Fight are other great VR games that give you a great workout. I would think Jeff would really dig Pistol Whip.
What Tommy and crew were aiming for is/was? admirable. It's just hard to release a console when you aren't a massive company. I once wanted one, but with the price hike and the lack of games it turned to a no. I love retro games getting modern versions and thought it would get a lot. I do hope it manages to make it to market though. I would hate to see all that R&D on a new console, and it does seem rad with the controllers, be thrown away.
The last of this was a bit rough to watch for me. Jeff wasn't having another BOTW or Outer Wilds happen to him. I really want to play Psychonauts 2 now just to see how it plays. I usually agree with Jeff on games so I am curious. Him mentioning SM64 though... I'd rather play Yoshi's Island!!
WTF! You shit on Looper and not even explain why you think it's a bad movie. I haven't seen it in a long time, but I remember really liking it. Also using a microwave for time travel is straight up taken from Steins;Gate.
Also does Jason have an affinity for bad games? It's like that is all that he brings.
