Ok I will start of by saying this is only based on what I've heard from reviews and from watching the quick look.
 
The campaign seems to have almost the exact same set-up as this http://www.giantbomb.com/black/61-8369/.
It might just be me but that's all I'm seeing from all the footage from the campaign. Main character being interrogated and all the missions are essentially flashbacks. 
 
EDIT: Ok I realize a lot of games use this similar style. I dunno why Black stood out the most but it did. Had just woken up when I posted this and hadn't thought it entirely through.
 
The game still looks pretty good but I don't have a decent system to run on PC so 360 is gonna be my only option and on that front I'm still mainly playing Gears 3 multiplayer. I don't know if I will put enough time into it to enjoy the MP much. Since I get paid on Friday I might end up buying this but still kinda on the fence.

@XenoNick: The single player seems (and I think is) just meh. Not a reason to buy the game for sure.

Black isn't the only game to have the gameplay set up as flashbacks during an interrogation,

The BF3 campaign is three things: 
 
1. A sexy graphics orgy for the eyes 
2. A tutorial (controls, gun feel, etc..) 
3. A Call of Duty-knock off joke of a pretentious cinematic experience

The Co-op seems to be a better tutorial given that spotting does something and you get a helicopter mission off the bat.

@XenoNick: I'm going through the campaign now and its very frustrating at times. I'm not that far but I hate just the overall execution on the design of the on foot missions so far. It's follow dude to point A, wait for an interaction, clear an area and rinse and repeat. They even have freaking infinitely spawning enemies in some areas, it's pretty bad too, like almost World at War bad.

There's some areas where you think your supposed to slowly shoot your way through but your really just supposed to follow your squadmates. In one area your storming through these machine gun nests with infinitely spawning enemies and you have a friendly keep saying "Through the building!!" over and over while you got like 5 dudes shooting at you.

Also I'm having some issues with allies getting directly in front of my line of sight for a shot. There's just some areas to where the cover they provide you with is just crappy.

I'm just not having a very fun time with the campaign so far, I liked the jet part but that's about it. I still have a lot left to go through though.
