Man the graphics still look pretty bad, why are they doing ANOTHER remake of this game? It was a good game on the Wii but was it really that good to do 2 remakes?
I'm doubting a Western release as well. It's not too often we see threemakes of obscure hardcore Japanese games over here.
Yeah, I think that Steam support will be very limited to very few games in the future, if any more at all. It is a competing platform after all and I think the only reason they let Valve do it with P2 is because the PS3 had a bad rep with Valve games. This way Sony got rid of that reputation and Valve gets more royalties.

Fighting games, especially MK, is extremely visceral. You don't have a massive world to look at like in adventure games - it's the same stages and backdrops and the same moves. Of course people will notice this stuff because you see it over and over and over again.

I find that with MK there is actually a bit of a difference in the detail and the lighting between the two, but I do know what you mean about the gamma. Sometimes the only difference is that the game looks darker on one platform and they call it a "problem" because it's the default. That's what the brightness and gamma options are there for :P
Wow I had no idea they were trying to recreate an art style with Skyward Sword. I thought it was just a variation of cel shading but I can definitely see it now. They pulled off Cel Shading amazingly with Wind Waker and (if I'm not mistaken) that was their first attempt with a new art style. I have a huge amount of faith in them that they can do it again :)
And this is why I buy my games used or at bargain. I have a rule that if the game is under 20 hours I will not buy it for over 40 dollars. With this rule in mind you can imagine how excited I am to get Divinity 2: DKS for 40 bucks in a few days.
While the PS3 is known to have weaker effects (depends on the developer though), are you sure it's not just like, compression artifacts? Lens of Truth I find is biased towards the 360 almost all of the time.
It's not like this year will be devoid of games or not. There is so much coming out, I don't think I would have even gotten around to playing The Last Guardian even if it did come out this year. This just means it'll be a better game that we'll have more time to play :P
A little off topic, but seeing the few replies above me I can honestly say that Giant Bomb is at times the most mature video game website on the net. Other websites would have raging fanboys getting mad and blaming this person and that person for the delay.
