@ArchScabby: Garrus is my favorite ME character, he's so awesome!

@Six: Man that sucks. I've never heard of the battery pack dying... well, not as common as RROD I guess. It's messed up how the battery pack even has vents, lol

@MB: The difference is that if you do this, who knows? It might work or not. There is no harm in doing it. Eating anchovies, on the other hand...

But seriously, if you're worried about it, you need to try it. It worked for me so far, 2 years. Actually over 2 years now... :D

So I just read a thread on here about a 360 breaking. It's always sad for a system to break...Well for the past 2 years I've been using this strategy and my 360 is still kicking and works perfectly. I made this up, and I just randomly thought of it one day when I first heard of the RROD a longgg time ago.

- First, take an eraser, like a regular white eraser you can get from Staples for around 25 cents or however much they are.
- Cut it in half, then cut each of those pieces in half so you have 4 equal pieces.
- Use these eraser pieces as stand - you know how the bottom of the 360 has those little rubber things? Put them right under there.

I chose an eraser beause it won't move the 360 so you don't have to be scared of it falling. The reason why I did this is because I firmly believe that the RROD is caused by overheating due to a blockage to the vents, in this case the bottom ones. This way, there will be lots of room for air to travel around under the 360. I have been doing this for years, and have had no problems.

All my friends who have gotten RRODs (3 in total) simply put their 360s flatly on a surface, standing or laying... it makes me cringe, haha. This is obviously only meant for laying 360s. The design is so bad on these things - the system heats up a lot and needs a lot of air going through it. This method will help, trust me.

Now... watch me post this and my 360 break tomorrow :p

@TwoOneFive: Trophies may be more thought out, but it's too bad that that thought wasn't implemented very well. They are very misleading.

" I don't get why people say they "hate" either of them. It's not like it's degraded your fucking experience. If you don't like them, that's cool, but there's no reason to "hate" something that apparently has "no effect" on you.   As a side-note, everyone I've ever personally talked to who "hates" achievements/trophies tend not to have very many. Just an observation. "
I like that observation.
