@seraphslaughter: Sapporo Ramen! I used to go there all the time when I lived in Cambridge! It's one of the only places where I was a regular enough that they remembered my order.
@rocketraccooncmro: The men in Dream Daddy have value and depth outside of their sexuality. From what I've seen, Bayonetta's value is inherently tied to her sexuality.
If Bayonetta is your jam, that's fine with me. I'm sure the gameplay is good. But please realize that when a game objectifies a woman to the point of the camera moving between her legs, her clothes coming off during combat, and her overly sexual fighting style, it makes it that much harder for me to get into the game. It makes me feel like my only value as a woman is my sexuality.
I have absolutely no issue with sex and sexuality in games. And certainly no issue with an overtly sexual female character in a game. But for me to enjoy it, she needs to be empowered and have real agency over her sexuality, not be objectified for the consumer.
Hey gang! Sorry about the quick dialogue! I'm a fast reader and I'd played it before so I didn't realize. I'll work on it in the future. Appreciate the feedback!
