I don't really like it either. Rush just concentrates the fighting so much better. Your team in Conquest mode is often spread too thin, or not spread enough and focuses too much on one point.
Wow. I loved Mass Effect and its combat was fine enough to complement the story for me. And you said you didn't like KotOR. How in the world did you expect that you would enjoy Mass Effect? I guess you should stay away from Dragon Age: Origins when it comes out as well. But I'll probably be having fun with it.
