Loved the dynamic of this podcast. Would love to see more crossover stuff whenever possible.

As a side note: I don't think knocking on a game based on the fact that it can be greatly improved with voice communication is a fair criticism. Definitely a preference, but not an inherent flaw by any means.

They seriously didn't try to go back and fail to drink the coffee in the first game? So disappointing...

I really would like to see more games with DM ability.

What comes to mind more recently was Zeus that was released for ArmA 3. I played with a few other guys where our "Zeus (AkA DM)" Would roleplay as characters in the game as we pretended to act as an insurgency. We even included dice rolls and all in the game to determine certain things to happen. I haven't had that much fun in a game in a long time.

I don't really enjoy how cynical the crew is over 4 player couch-coop/couch-competitive games. As opposed to accepting it as another genre they label them as "eh, there's enough of them now."

It's entirely too negative. Honestly.

They usually require a higher level of reflex and mechanics understanding than what they are willing to give them time for. It's really dismissive and kind of off-putting.

Like the sheriff mode in the Thieves game they first played. Instead of understanding how to identifying players in the AI crowd, they dismissed it by shooting immediately and not reading or understanding the rules. You'd think people that reviewed games for almost 20 years they would have more patience in understanding the games they play.

Even in windjammers and their complaint about the lobs. Instead of questioning maybe it was the timing of when they were launching the lobs, they instead blame the mechanics of the game and just say "eh, the other game is better." I can't be the only person frustrated with this.

Regardless, they are still fun to watch despite them being overly dismissive of certain types of games.

To put this into perspective, this would be the equivalent if the crew called all fighting games pretty much the same.

Either time code episodes so we can skip destiny talk or start a separate Destiny podcast.

Enough is enough brad.

Eh, I've never played Destiny or don't intend to, but it really is interesting to hear how the game develops over time. Seeing if the wreck can be repaired into something that's worthwhile.

There is totally a couple of lightgun-like shooting segments in Read Only Memories, by the way.
