    This is the best idea ever! I don't have the 360 version anymore (due to having no friends active on RDR on the 360 AS WELL as this topic). It's really frustrating to try and complete an objective and then being repeatedly killed for no reason. Good luck!

    @ryanwho:  No I'm trying to avoid role-playing. If the players were role playing then it would really be the Wild West-where people randomly shoot each other and pick fights.

    As admirable of an idea as it was to emulate the wild west by allowing the Live community to act in anyway it wants, I wonder if Rockstar forgot exactly what kind of community it was dealing with. What I can't understand is when trying to do a hideout, the biggest challenge will be the legion of kids shooting you in the back, they get 10xp when they could get 50xp for doing the same thing in death match. I guess it's easier when no one's shooting back at you.

    sounds good to me, I've never really played the multiplayer but the one time I got in I had a donkey. So I can be the sidekick with the donkey! It'll be great!

    Yeah, it's stupid when you get killed for nothing, I always get killed by two kids who are really stupid or just dicks, then I hunt them down until they get pissed off at me and leave me alone, they don't understand how free roam works.

    Ps3 version? Because I too have noticed a huge drop in the player count. Do I ever get into a free-roam with above 4 players I'll get kicked out from ''disconnection to other players'' >=/

    I tried MP for the first time last night and ... well... didn't much care for it.
    Roving packs of murder posses and shakey connectivity do not for a fun game make.

    I've never really had a problem in Free Roam. I just keep to myself and no one really bothers me. I got that online gang hideouts achievement in free roam without anyone bothering me.
