    Red Dead Redemption is the spiritual successor to 2004's Red Dead Revolver, featuring a vibrant, open world set in the decline of the American Wild West. Players take on the role of former outlaw John Marston, who is forced to hunt down his former gang to regain his family.

    This games been flying under the radar until rumors of Rockstar staff were being overworked due to this games uncertainty or lack of direction, but this is the first real gameplay footage being shown of a near final product and i must say it look really promising..

    I think it looks fantastic. I've been following this game for a while, as I do with most Western games given that they're quite rare and few live up to the potential of the Western Spaghetti/Old America lore. This game looks to be, by far, the best game ever inspired by the Old West. An extremely detailed open world, rendered by a really terrific engine combined with really high production values, inspired by the old Sam Packinpah/Sergio Leone movies.

    Even though I don't think this game will be perfect and can't wait for it.  Wild West games are too far and few.  Loved the 1st one Even with its flaws so this should be a dream.

    I really enjoyed Gun for the PS2, and Red Dead Redemption looks like the game Gun should have been.  I think this game will be fantastic.

    Looks fun, but you could see some framerate issues during the few gameplay scenes that weren't in slow-mo.

    I really liked the first game for PS2, the multiplayer was pretty awesome.  Looking forward to this game, it looks great.  Hopefully there will be an online multiplayer mode as well.

    A good Wild West game is hard to come by so I'm glad this is coming out. Looks like it's shaping up greatly as well.

    Me too, dude! I was hoping Call of Juarez would make a good western. But that game just made me depressed.
     
    While Red Dead redemption just looks over the top amazing. Cant wait. I dont think Rockstar will fail with the rage engine in such good shape.
