red dead redemption- a riveting experience

For one, let me start off saying this game is much more then just gta4 with horses.

the game revolves around a former outlaw by the name of john marston. he is partiality reformed and lived on a ranch with his wife and child. a group of federal agents have taken his family and are going to execute them unless john marston helps them catch his old outlaw buddies.

the world you travel through is massive and full of life and things to do. it is very easy to head towards a mission point and end up spending hours just doing side jobs and hunting.
there are many side jobs which can be done to make money such as, hunting animals and selling there skins, gambling, night watch, horse breaking, bounty hunting, arm wrestling and playing five finger fillet (the game where you stab around your fingers).

the money you make can be spent on new guns, ammo,a suit and cloth,a bandolier and other things.
your actions will make you famous. this is mostly a good thing, but it will cause more people to challenge you to a duel and bandits will attack more often.

the game has a beautiful and stunning story and you will often believe that you have reached the end before it actaully does.
with a full cast of fun and intriguing characters the dying west is full of life
    5/5

Red Dead Revolver was a modest action-shooter-game-thingy released on last generation’s consoles in 2004. I’d best describe it as an unorthodox spaghetti-western game with strange controls and a cast of cowboy archetypes that had the benefit of stylish load screens and trumpet-fueled music music. Red Dead Revolver is the non-sequel to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption, and quite frankly you will not hear the name of the former game in this text review again on account to how little in common the two...

Play it NOW! - Red Dead Redemption 0

John Marston is single-handedly the greatest protagonist that Rockstar has ever created. The game's ability to capture his personality and simultaneously recreate the picturesque Wild West setting, makes for a compelling narrative rarely accomplished in games. Much of this has to do with the excellent voice acting and animation, making the scenes very cinematic. There are also the usual Rockstar tropes of dialog containing social commentary on American life, but Redemption executes these ...
