We were shown a brief cutscene that highlighted the main protagonists of the game, Vashyron, Zephyr, and Leanne. You'll likely find their voices familiar too, because Nolan Northand Scott Menville provide the voices for the two male leads. We didn't get a chance to explore too much of the world, but from what we've seen so far, it looks like it's going to be full of elaborate, well-choreographed battles. " - Gamespot
Resonance of Fate
Game » consists of 9 releases. Released Jan 28, 2010
A "gun battle" RPG developed at tri-Ace in collaboration with SEGA.
Mother Fucker..
Personally, I think that is hilarious. I have a fucked up sense of humor though. Also, I don't have as much experience with Nolan North as others as I am poor and can't afford a Playstation 3 so I haven't played Uncharted 2.
The game still looks awesome though. I'm a fan of elaborate, well-choreographed battles.
wait Nolan North is in this game?
fuck yes this is awesome I'm 100% buying it now
who is Scott Menville
He did Vossler in FF12 and some dude in WKC iirc. Not to surprising that he is doing this. "I didn't know that. I guess it's fine as long as he doesn't take his Drake voice that he used way too much since Uncharted.
" Wow. Um. I'm not so big a fan of JRPGs either. But what's with the hate for this guy getting work? "Because he's a voice in almost every video game ever made, and besides that I think this will be his first JRPG voice work.
I have to say quickly that the idea of Nolan North voicing a character in a Japanese RPG is practically orgasmic. In fact, I'm going to go change my pants.
I'm getting more and more interested in this game, that has nothing to do with Nolan North though.
I'm guessing he'll do the voice for the older guy, would be funny if he did both of the guys' voices though, like I initially read it.
Ok, time to Youtube some NN.
It's happened! We've turned on Nolan North!
God-dammit is there nothing that the bombcast can't predict?
"Well atleast he'll do a better job than the majority of VAs for Japanese RPGs... I'd rather hear him than someone like the guy who did Edge Maverick in Tri-Ace's last game. "
Oh god, Edge...
But the it fit him so perfectly, cause that guy was an idiot, his lines were so bad...
He's in too many damn games now...it's almost scary..
He will never be Steve Blum. I don't care if that guy voice acted in every anime I watch from here on out, he's all pro. Although I do give Nolan North credit, he's a great voice actor." Goddamnit. He's becoming the new Steve Blum. "
Seriously though, good memorable voices can sell a character, and I'm sure he's not going to turn down work.
Edit: Wait, he was Deadpool in "Hulk vs.". Ah snap this guy gets around.
Nathan Drake in MY game? It's more likely than you think.
Also, this FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU- business is starting to get on my nerves. Just type 'fuck' dammit!
The problem with NN is that developers see the success of the Nathan Drake character and ask him to do the same style for them. If he was doing lots of different styles it wouldn't be a problem.

Someone needs to check the cast list for Wolverine and The X-men" North and Blum need to get into a bar fight. Pretty sure Grunt/Spike Spiegel could kick Nathan Drake's ass. snap "
