    Retro City Rampage

Game » consists of 36 releases. Released Oct 09, 2012

An action-packed, deliberately-retro parody of video games and pop culture from the era of 8-bit game consoles, Retro City Rampage is a nostalgic twist on the mass-mayhem open-world action of Grand Theft Auto.

I can't wait for this game to come out this morning. Ever since I heard about the game, I've been waiting to see whats in stored for us. The twitter feed said it's going to be coming out sometime this morning PST time. I might be sleep by then, but then again I might stay up just to play it, and play dota 2 until I get my e-mail. So you guys ready for it?

I certainly am... Refreshing my e-mail account every 10 minutes to see if my key (pre-ordered it 4 month ago) has already arrived...

I'm buying it when it hits PSN. I wish there was a cheaper, Vita only download though. My PS3 recently died and I'm not purchasing another one.

I think I need to see more of what this game is. Originally I thought it was trying to bring the GTA2 style gameplay into a modern era. Now it seems more like a parody of SNES & arcade games and 80s movies; two things that I have no nostalgia for. I'll have to wait for a quick look or reviews.

God I am so ready. Been wanting this game since it was fuckin announced like years ago. If only PSN updated at more reasonable times rather than like 5 in the afternoon.

Gave the Vita version a spin, runs and plays great. No awkward touchy-feely controls and all the display filters and such are there. I fricking loved the Super Meat Boy minigame in the arcade, didn't think I'd ever play a Vita game with anaglyph 3D glasses on.

I need to update my PS3 account to download this! The man who made this really went all out with the Retro gaming references and it can't be missed.
