I'm loving Rockband at the moment

Should be in General Discussion. But for the record, RB>GH.

Can't we just all agree that music games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band are totally awesome in general?

Rock Band is better than GH.  the songs are better the instruments play and feel better.

I prefer Rock Band. GH is still pretty fun though.

I have no doubt that GH: WT won't be quite on par with Rock Band, but it's not out yet, so we'll have to wait and see. I'll probably be getting both RB 2 and GH: WT because of the drum compatibility, and I'm sure I'll enjoy both.

I personally prefer Rock Band, though I still like Guitar Hero.

I choose real guitar.

  I think rockband is better. It is more fun overall.

Right now I play pretty much only Rock Band because of the drums, but both have their ups and downs. I think in the end Rock Band has a better feel that's less cartoony.

I do like rockband, but im British. Since we only have rock band on 1 system over here at the moment(x360) rock band is decidedly less popular than guitar hero over here.

I love rock band (bought it while i was in the states in april) but im really really looking forward to gh world tour. I think it will have an overall better feel than rock band.

Rock band for the game, but the guitar for guitar hero is so much better. The rock band guitar feels so flimsy in comparison, and the lack of a clicker is just plain madness.

Rock Band is exponentially better than Guitar Hero, and though GHWT may have bigger bands and more famous songs, its gameplay will stop you from enjoying those songs.

Rock Band wins.

GH3 and all it's BS with difficulty just turned me off. After not being able to beat any of the last tier songs on expert, I gave up.

RB is so much better. Screw Neversoft.

Rock Band just...feels better than Guitar Hero, and I can say with certainty that I'll have more fun with RB2 than GH:WT. Harmonix knows their fans, and love the music they give us. I can't say the same about Neversoft.

Rock Band has better songs in my opinion.  I'll stick with it for the time being.   Not interested in buying more instruments anytime soon.

I have the Rock Band instruments so thats where I will go. I'm not getting more plastic instrument sets, Im sorry Guitar Hero.

i don't know what it is but i just can't play guitar hero anymore. it looks so...i dunno...old or something in comparison with rock band. i simply hate the style of gh3. this whole metal look to it and cartoony stuff. i prefer rock band in that matter. also the notes are much more visible and makes much more sense in RB than in guitar hero. in gh you have like milion notes that aren't even in the track. they're just in there to make things harder. i hate that.
however i prefer the guitar from guitar hero3 than stratocaster. buttons are bigger and imo it's easier to play on it than on the rock band one.

about gh world tour- if they stop adding stupid notes just for sake of making the game harder i'll like it. i know i'll buy it because i need my rhytm game fix but you know...

oh. also the drum parts in gh:wt looks freaking terrible. i can't read this stuff. stupid fretboards. rock band got it right with the transparent design.

Rock band, but I'll have to try world tour before I can fully decide.

i've seen guitar hero world tour in action, and the cymbals are not that responsive. hopefully they will fix it but i think that i will stick with rock band. the design is great, you can see all of the notes and everything. on another note, the ion drum set for rock band 2 looks freaking awesome. probably really expensive though.

They're both fine, but I'm with Harmonix because of Activision's "fuck you" corporate attitude about not making the peripherals compatible, and completely and unapolegetically ripping off Rock Band. Harmonix, on the other hand, is a reall cool group of dudes who just love music, and you can tell.

So corporate attitude wins it for me, over any gameplay item, oddly enough.

I like rock band better definately. It has some solid DLC and if I get tired of playing guitar I can go do vocals or something to give my arms a rest. Once WT comes out though I don't know. It will all be up to the setlist I think and the RB2 setlist is looking really good.

Rock Band by an increasingly wide margin. I honestly wish Guitar Hero would just wither and die at this point so this irritating battle for exclusive songs can end and we, the consumers, can feed on the delicious spoils.

Rock band simply for all the DLC

I liked Rock Band more than GH3, but I'm not sure who to side with this year.  Both games look great.

Rock Band > Guitar Hero Easily.

Rack Band hasn't been released in Eu yet, but i still prefer it to Guitar Hero, simply because I'm not the best GH player in my social circle anymore

I used to like Guitar Hero better, but now I'm leaning towards Rock Band.

Which ever franchise can gets Prince or Lenny Kravits' music hopfully both, probly neither.

I like Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but I like Rock Band more than GH, because you can also play drums and sing. But I don't like the buttons on the Rock Band guitar, and I have GH 3 and RB for Wii, and the GH controller won't work with Rock Band on Wii. But I think GH On Tour looks cool.

The song selection is better overall in Guitar Hero (thus far), but Rock Band has made up for it my having better DLC. The GH3 Les Paul controller is, in my opinion, far superior to the Rock Band Strat controller. As far as GH: World Tour vs RB2, RB2's song selection is looking better at the moment.
