I don't really think there are any spoilers in this post, but to be safe and not make anyone upset I'll spoiler tag the story related parts.

OK, so I am doing Asha's loyalty mission. Everything is good up until the point where you get ambushed and you have to destroy the helicopter. At this point I do what is required, get into the car, and then wait for Asha and the VIP to get into the car. At this point Asha gets in but the VIP just stands frozen behind the corner of a wall. Also, I can fire in the driver's seat but I cannot rotate my reticle to aim at anyone. After about 2-3 the VIP magically appears in the car and we go to what is presumably the last part of the side quest.

This portion has you taking the VIP to an extraction point. Once I get there my character, and Asha, automatically exit the vehicle and then nothing happens. The VIP stays in the car, there is no mission text or specific audio playing...nothing. After about 3-5 minutes the quest picks up like it should with a Professor Genki npc dropping in. When it cuts back to my character I am unable to move, shoot, go to my weapon dial...absolutely nothing. I've wait a bit and let him beat on me and attack with me his TK powers but nothing happens. I have restarted checkpoints and I have completely started the mission from scratch several times. Nothing works.

If anyone has any help with this it would be greatly appreciated. I could find nothing of this on Google so I'm not sure. I've had various times where the game seems to lock up in the menus once or twice, but other than that everything has been great on PC.

I had a weird issue with the VIP getting stuck on/in a newspaper vending box where she was floating above it and running in circles, eventually I just had to quit out and restart the mission.

FUUUUUUCK. This game's scripting has been bugging out on me ever since that mission. This is becoming incredibly frustrating.
