Sasha's personality changes greatly between Harvest Moon 64 and any subsequent titles she appears in. The only consistent role is that she will always be Karen's mother.
Game Appearances:
- Harvest Moon 64 - Runs the vineyard's household. She plays peacekeeper between her strong willed husband and equally-willed daughter and is often in a sad mood due to the poor yearly harvests straining the family finances. If befriended, she reveals to the protagonist that prior to the vineyard, she was an international dancer and decided to settle down in Flowerbud Village after falling in love with Gotz. Contrary to the village gossip, she wanted a quieter life. Should Karen leave the village, she is permanently depressed. If Karen gets married and the vineyard's soil is restored, she has permanently upbeat dialogue.
- Harvest Moon: Back to Nature - Strong-willed co-owner of the general store in Mineral Town. As opposed to her husband's people-pleasing qualities, Sasha will chase down customers to pay their tab and is often exasperated at her husband's leniency. Though no-nonsense, she is generally friendly to the protagonist and will also advocate for the other villagers by convincing Aja to call Duke & Manna more often, visiting Lillia and Ellen to keep them company, etc. Karen's personality more mirrors Sasha in this game.
- Harvest Moon: Friends/More Friends of Mineral Town - Same role as "Back to Nature." A bit more backstory reveals that her and Jeff were inseparable as children. Karen is annoyed that though they fight a lot, they make up immediately and affectionately.
- Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town - Same role as "Friends/More Friends of Mineral Town."
