    Another great game from Wadjet Eye

    I had been anticipating this game ever since it was announced, and finished it in a seven hour sitting as soon as it came out. Most prominent is the gorgeous background art, which is extremely detailed for being so pixelated. Ben Chandler has as usual done a wonderful job breathing life into the world and its characters. The story kept me interested all the way to the credits even though it might not be the most overwhelming one from the developer. I would perhaps have preferred the difficulty to be a bit higher. Mostly because that would have kept me in the awesome post-apocalyptic world of the game for a longer time though, because solving the puzzles is rewarding enough. I am now eagerly awaiting Unavowed, the upcoming title from Wadjet Eye Games.

      Shardlight was developed by Wadjet Eye, a company that has focused on the modern adventure genre with games like the Blackwell Series, Gemini Rue, Technobabylon, and their newest Unavowed. Their games take inspiration from the Sierra Entertainment and LucasArts titles of my childhood.
