I am picking mine up tomorrow.  After watching the endurance run, i am convinced that this is a game that is totally worth my time.  I also want to add that if i never saw this endurance run, i would have never even heard of this gem.  I think it would be great to do this with other great, fairly unknown games.  I was wondering if anybody also felt the same.

I did.  I'm blind to the genre, so there's no way I would have known about it otherwise.  I don't regret it one bit.  When I'm done, I'm going to start a new game + immediately.

Yes, but I'm not going to play it until the Endurance Run is done, as I don't want my playing of the game to be tainted by what I see in the Endurance Run.  So instead, I'm gonna buy P4, and sit on it and play Fes instead.

I decided to pick it up while it's cheap, but i'm going to do Persona 3 FES first simply because the idea of playing a game where I already pretty much know the first 16 hours off by heart is a bit gutting.

My girlfriend totally bought it when it came out. Bad luck for her because now I love it more than her. Dumbfuck.

I will play Bully again, because of... well, just because I love Bully.

I would of never heard of it if it wasn't for the Endurance Run. I don't have a copy yet but it's a possibility for the near future.

I bought Persona 3 FES a while back and I really loved it, but I didn't really think I wanted to invest another billion hours into the next one. After watching all the fun they have with it, I begin to contemplate, so it's a possibility that I will get back into Persona again.

Yep, i didn't even have a PS2 had to go out and get one also.

I definitely didn't start playing mine until I saw some of the endurance run and really wanted to play then. A friend got it for me for christmas and since I had so many damn games already to play, I did the same thing I did with P3 after I had it...let it sit there for a really long time and nearly forgot I owned it. Once I saw the first few episodes of the endurance run I just had to start it...now I'm almost 130 hours into it and I love it.

Had it before the endurance run, but it's great to see someone else playing it.  Watching it actually got me to pick P3:FES up again and start grinding away at it and I'm either heading to Digital Devil Saga or Nocturne next.  Depends on how much torture I want to put myself through.  Nocturne is ridiculously hard, while Digital Devil Saga's pretty rough to get into initially because the characters are so bland in the beginning. 

Ive Finish P4 before the Endurance Run even started.

I had never heard of it before the endurance run and still don't care about playing it. The endurance run is awesome though... for entertainment purposes only.

Nope-its all based upon things from12/3 on, so if you get the bad ending you can reload.

"so i have been religiously watching the endurance run videos on giantbomb, and as a result have been inspired to play persona 4 but have some questions for people who have finished the game about the endings.

so i have read in some forums and what not, that there are 3 endings total bad, normal, good, true. and i am afraid that i will not get the true ending so here are my questions: i have read that to get the true ending you have to say some certain things to yosuke on december, 3rd and then talk to all your maxed S.links, and go to the true final dungeon, is that it?

 are there things earlier on that can change the ending? 

like can you say something wrong or not do something  that will royally fuck everything up later on?

please let me know, i dont want to play the game i i will not be able to get the true anding just because of something i did at the beginning

Ive heard of the series before, But that was mainly because of an older On The Spot where they showed off the 3rd, and they were all talking about the whole shooting ureself in the head thing. Surprisingly enough, for that being all I knew about it or heard about it, I actually remembered the whole name.

No, but it was my last game on the Playstation 2, before I decided to "retire" the console.

I bought it in mid-December and put about 10 hours into it and stopped for whatever reason.  Watching the endurance runs here and there makes me want to play it again badly.  I don't have the time these days for the beast of an RPG that is Persona 4.

I bought this game because of the endurance run and also Persona 3: FES, both the best JRPGs played this year.

Yep. It pushed me over to buy Persona 3 and the obvious superiorities of P4 caused me to buy it as well.

I'm one of them + i had to purchase a PS2.

Was considering purchasing once it was released but had other games on my plate and didn't really know much about it, however actually jumped on it cause of the endurance run and when Amazon had a great deal on the game for like 25 bucks. Started this Sunday and up to the Kanji Shadow fight.

I was hesitant at first since in the endurance run it took FOREVER to actually get to a point where you could battle. But i saw it a Replay for dirt cheap (I think around $22) and figured why not.
I'm glad i did because i can't remember a video game that has made me laugh so hard.

Only the launch PS3s with the emotion engine, and it renders things a bit strange in the ones with the software compatibility.

I tried it out before the endurance run so sadly my opinion was formed differently than most and that game saw a quick exit from me. I just never truly got into the game.

Im saving buying it until my exams are over.

I've considered it but I don't think it would anywhere near as fun as watching Vinny and Jeff play it.

yep got it when i was at about the 15th part of the run, and i absolutely love the game :)

If Vinny and Jeff don't finish the game, I'll probably end up buying it.  I'm too invested in the story at this point to not see it's conclusion.

Only reason I haven't is because I sold my PS2 a while back. Even then, I actually did contemplate buying a PS2 just to play Persona 3 and 4. I was drunk.

Bought both Persona 3: FES and 4.  Loved the hell out of 4 so I picked up FES the other day and that's fantastic also.
