A type of clock which makes a loud noise to alert a user at a certain time, usually to wake them up.
Any type of simple ball in a game... can be simply rendered as a single pixel, or as a geometric shape.

Similar to exploding barrels. Found in many action games and platformers, usually explode when hit, shot, or smacked.

Hearts in video games are often associated with health or extra lives. From picking them up free of charge to buying them for in-game money.
A mechanical device bent into a curved shape. Typically used in villain design as it has a sinister design and connotation.
A ninja weapon which looks like a knife. It is very well made and balanced so it can be thrown as well.
Traditionally, lightning is a form of electrical discharge originating within clouds. Within video games, lightning can be used as an offensive attack.
A map is a drawing on a piece of paper, or other surface, that indicates the locations of various landmarks.
Meat is the edible flesh of animals. It is often seen restoring the health of adventurers and annoying vegans.
A Power-up that follows a ships motion. May add more firepower or defend by blocking enemy shots.
A citrus fruit that is round and orange in color. Sometimes it is a bonus prize as in the Pac-Man series of games. Also comes in the form of juice and soda.
A potion is any sort of liquid, usually brewed by an alchemist, that replenishes the health, mana, or energy of the player, or causes damage to an enemy. Potions are extremely common in role-playing games.
An object (called the Nyoi-bo in Japan) that Goku used in the Dragon Ball series for various reasons. It could extend to greater lengths at Goku's will and was given to him by his grandfather.
A delicious Chinese-Japanese dish containing noodles in a meat broth topped with various ingredients such as sliced chashu pork, seaweed or kamaboko.
A throwing weapon used by ninja. They come in varying shapes and sizes, but generally aren't used for the purpose of eliminating the target, rather for distracting said target.
A primitive ranged weapon that is used in various games. Usually is replaced by more powerful ranged weapons, such as a bow and arrow.
Device used to gamble. Players pull on a lever and three rows will spin, then depending on what they land on the player wins an amount of cash/tokens or nothing at all. Known as Pachi-Slot in Japan and Fruit Machines in the UK.
Known outside of the United States as a football, this item is used to play soccer, the most popular sport in the world.
Collect them, orbit them, conquer planets around them -- they're a staple of many genres of games.
A fruit that turns red when ripe and has lots of little seeds. It is a bonus prize in many video games, including some in the Pac-Man series.
