On the DS version of CoH, you could go to caves or places there were random encounters and grind XP and resources there.

anyone else havin trouble gettin the bombcast on itunes? it's like itunes doesn't even notice that it's there. real bummer as i always listen to the bombcast on my drives to and from my college campus every wednesday.

I realized recently that playing Elder Scrolls games as a pure warrior is boring. Magic son, that's where its at. Levitating. Invisibility. Summoning. It makes the game way more interesting.

A few people including myself express our thoughts on Patrick being included on the bombcast and suddenly:

1. I must believe the entire site is broken because of it.
2. I hate Patrick and everything surrounding him.
3. I'm a total whiner with nothing legitimate to say.
and 4. I'm apparently now threatening to leave.

Spoiler: None of these things are true.

People need to stop immediately retreating into the safety of "HATERS GONNA HATE" one-liners and make more constructive comments than just assuming any detractors are fit-throwing whiners who hate everything. Is a comment only valid around here if it's praise?

I like Patrick, he'll settle into the podcast fine.

Sort of half-listened to the podcast, half-not. Some good discussion in here, and also an adequate way to find out about how awesome MK is!

Patrick made an excellent addition to the team, you fools are crazy. I actually thought this was the best Bombcast in some time, it was great.

I liked Patrick on here. I think a permanent five man band could work. A new dynamic and a little shake-up sounds nice.

Hmm. If this new guy can make the news here on GB like that of RockPaperShotgun (though obviously on a different range of topics than they do), I'll be very happy. RPS is where I go for my PC gaming info, and is the second site I check every night when I get home from work, right after Giantbomb.

Those guys know their stuff, and know their audience. I can't think of a better site for the new guy to emulate when it comes to gaming news coverage.

Well think that what I thought was true, after being on G4's Feedback podcast for a while, being here he did a pretty good job. Not sure if he or other GB crew will fill in for a 5th slot more often but definitely was entertaining & informative as always :)

Great to hear Patrick. Change can be a good thing folks and I would like to hear more of Patrick on the Bombcast. He fit in well.

Thank you for making good on your promise to me to ensure fuller Speed Tree coverage on this podcast by holding Mr. Shoemaker's feet to the fire for his failure to do so. My trust in you has not been misplaced.

Just FYI, you guys can go back to previous campaigns in Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes. You just have to finish the first few minutes of the next campaign, exit the game, and then just select the previous campaign from the map screen.

As enjoyable a Bombcast as usual. Thanks, guys.

I liked Patrick on the show. I think he would be a great stand-in for the next time someone is on assignment.

But I still don't think more than 4 dudes should be on at once after this. It's just too many people trying to talk in a lot of cases.

I wonder if any of the bombcast crew have ever played the single player campaign of Blazblue, because that game has an amazing story and cast of characters. You can tell a  lot of care and attention went into creating the world of that game, and the characters just have a ton of personality. I haven't played MK yet. but Blazblue and its sequel have had the best story mode of any fighting game I've played thus far. 

Ryan sounded a bit rude with his sarcastic comments about Brad coverage of Rage and Skyrim, isn't he the same dude that went to Valve and didn't get any scoop or important piece of information about anything?. I don't know, it sounded to me like he was trying to make Brad look bad only to make his subpar trip to Valve look better.

 Rage is bringing Interstate '82 back! ;)

Wow, Patrick fits in really well. Much better than I expected. I guess it helps that he and Brad know each other forever, Brad appeared to be more lively, too.

Have Patrick on the bombcast as often as possible!
