Rick Dangerous on Atari ST was one of my first gaming experiences. Those game are pretty charming for what they were at the time.

I'm seeing end game tomorrow and just saw the first avenger last week. I saw 2 and hated it so never saw the first 1 but I liked infinity war. Anyways I can't wait to see Brie Larson again she's a great addition to the MCU!

I am not a huge fan of people cheering during movies but it beats the family of 4 who each got a bucket refill of popcorn and ate it as slowly as possible during Star Wars The Force Awakens and whose kid threw a huge tantrum and threw his soda on the ground and started crying and the staff came and the family screamed at them and I dug m yfingernails into the chair. At least the chairs recline.

UNIST is so good, if y'all stream it and want viewer fights I think there'd be a lot more than you think. I'd def be down to throw my fraudelent Wagner at y'all lol.

That's a good City of Heroes zinger @jeff threw out at 13:20. I really missed that game and I'm stoked it's back, albeit in a super illegal way, but I'm still having a blast on it.

So I have never gone on Steam and sorted by new releases before, so I figured the duders were kind of exaggerating. I checked new releases today and the first page included "Bondage Nightmare" and "Furry Girl". There is no joking or exaggeration, just a need for a GB plays hentai stream.

As a kid from that era, stuff like the Amstrad baffled me even then. If you were rich, your parents bought you a 2600, if you were middle class, you got a C64. Everyone else, me included, got a Spectrum unless your dad was speaking to a guy down the pub who was selling Amstrads, Dragon 32s, Tatungs etc from a shed in his back garden.

My mate's dad sold Tatungs from a shed in his back garden...

Joking aside my favorite parts of the bombast are when Jeff and crew reminisce about old games. This is just bringing that to life and I adore it. But yes new games are also cool to talk about and watch, and sometimes if I'm feeling naughty, play.

I feel like the 464 was always the odd one out between the Spectrum and C64. With the exception of Get Dexter, there wasn't a lot of great Amstrad-only software, and arcade game ports were an even more mixed bag than other platforms.

That said, the soundtrack to Glider Rider is awesome.

I played a lot of Rick Dangerous 1 and 2 on the Amiga 500, also much better looking version than this one.

I wasn't paying attention and heard Ben talking about zodiac signs and I was hoping he was referencing the horseshit Chinese movie I just watched on a flight: CZ12. Horrible script, acting, and special effects with the healthy dose of propaganda that all Chinese blockbusters seem to have. Jackie Chan as a master thief stealing national treasures so the very good and not bad government can get them back. He goes down a mountain road in a suit with roller-blade wheels on his hands and body. He also skydives toward a volcano with no parachute.
