Sweet, I'm all up for some Bayonetta talk. My favorite game this year so far and as fan of ridiculous over-the-top insane action, Bayonetta is second to none. I also thoroughly enjoyed the references to Capcom games (Whatd'ya buyin'?:P) and the throwbacks to Sega's classics. Pure gaming fun.

Guessing with all the whining over the endless nerf cycle on Wow it's carried over to SC2 from the sound of what Brad was seeing elsewhere on the internet. BTW Ryan, throwing the gumball machine will spill them out to create slapstick zombie fun.

ugh. Why did I preorder Reach. It sounds like a total disappointment. I guess I should've known better than to expect more from Bungie.

Does anyone ever feel at the end of the bombcast when the music plays that Ryan is gonna come on again and be like hey its Tuesday yadayada! I think they need 2 different songs lol.

Every time Brad Nicholson spoke, I was surprised that he was on the bombcast. I forgot every time.

Is it just me or does Brad N not talk a lot in the podcast?  I keep forgeting he's actually there. 

I'm so used to listening to this sped up on my ipod nano.

Play through Bayonetta again. Non-stop Infinity Climax was the best part of the game.

This Bombcast ain't big enough for two Brads; Cackalacky representin'!
 
I don't think Samus needs to be feminized just be because she's a woman. In fact, I think her gender was revealed at the end of the original Metroid for nothing other than the novelty: female protagonists were rather rare in 1986 and this made for a nice surprise.
 
But apart from that, her gender has no bearing on anything until the events of Super Metroid when the game's namesake imprints Samus as its mother, and that right there, is all the feminizing one needs. Samus was reared by the Chozo; they trained her to be a warrior, why wouldn't she behave like a masculine bounty hunter? There is no good reason for Team Ninja to emasculate her other than what was already stated about said team in the Bombcast.
 
And pronouncing it Aran /ɛə.rən/ instead of the correct /ə.rɑ:n/, based on the Japanese アラン /a̠.ɽa̠n/ pisses me off, but I do agree with Zebes as /zɛ.bɛs/ instead of /zi:bəs/. (Aran is the Japanese pronunciation of Alan/Allen/Allen; could this be the Huntress' surname?. One source states that the name Samus Aran is actually based on soccer legend Pelé's birthname Link)          
 
Jeff, I understand that being from California, you've always been exposed to the Spanish language, but French is not Spanish; you don't need to pronounce the E at the end of -ique. Just listen to Ryan, his French is more or less acceptable.

brad nicholson sure is polarizing.  i have no qualms with him though.

Brad 2 does not sound like he is really there at all.

I don't know if this whole used game requiring the purchase of an online code is the right road to go down. I think we might see a ramp up in piracy.

I love this show...

Gamefly works wonderfully for me I rarely have a game more then 3 days. The games gamefly send me spend more time in the mail then in my house. 

Gotta get my fix of sweet, sweet Bombcast nectar.

DUDE Holy shit they were talking about Beaufort !! That is where I am from! AND THEY PRONOUNCED IT RIGHT!!!!

Completely agree with what Ryan said around 53min in. The zero suit Samus has taken over and she has become just another sexist video game character. 
 
EDIT: I agree with the HD talk. there is a huge sticker on my cell phone box that says "HD video" but it has a 320x240 screen. That's not even SD so how can it be HD?
