Jan, I've got a Wii U balance board (in its box!) in my closet. It's scheduled to go to a Goodwill in Chicago, but if you call dibs on it, I can arrange that. I think I even have the step counters too (though no game, I don't believe).

Persona 5 Strikers is possibly one of the best Mousu games every made. I just wished it took place after Royal and not the original game. Kasumi is deeply missed.

Edit: When Jan was asked if there was a social link system? He could have mentioned how its replaced with a combat bonding system. Meaning, when you play with certain party members for a decent amount of time, bonding ranks occur which makes attacks and stuff stronger, like a max level prestige system.

As a 28 year old, I can in fact remember dropping film of to be developed. I'd say 26 is porbably the cut off age.

@subliminalkitteh Well, as a 26 y/o I can confirm memories of childhood trips to the local Costco's photo section doing that sort of stuff. I'm kinda heart broken they don't do it anymore - I loved keeping and looking at the negatives for this stuff, haha.

I find it baffling that no one on the team recognizes that "The New 3DS" had a vastly improved 3D functionality that worked when you moved your head!!!! The power increase was never the main selling point!

Loop Hero is fantastic and I hope you guys stick with it. There is a lot more to that game than is on the surface, you just have to find it yourself.

I donate to smaller streamers who I genuinely like watching. But it's only a waste of money if you think donating money will get the streamer to "like" you. They're still strangers.

DOOM 3 VR on the Quest is incredible, they should check that out rather than on PS4.

Not to be negative, but you can say the same thing about people who support this website, which has a subscription model. You're mostly paying to support these guys because you like their personality and presence online, since there are many other gaming websites that do the same things these guys do and more for free. The same is true with many twitch streamers and why people donate or subscribe to their channels. I likely won't do so anytime soon if ever, but I watch many streamers I like and understand why some would.

I haven't been able to get anyone else to play Valheim with me. I've made it TO the second boss and realized I definitely want a party for this. Slowly built up over 20 hours and now I have a world that nobody will probably want to join since it's already up to the second boss, and a place I don't want really want to play solo any more. I guess what I'm saying is I have mixed feelings about the game right now.

@av_gamer: As someone that recently took interest in a Twitch streamer and saw how the whole “Subscription” model works on Twitch.. it is WAY different than paying for GB.

Early in the episode they mention Apex Legends is bad on switch and brad says they'll talk more about it later in the episode. Does anyone know if they ever got around to it? I don't remember them coming back around to the topic but i may have missed it if it was short discussion. Was interested in hearing the duders' experiences with the switch version.

@stubburns: I recall them saying that Apex Legends wasn't out on Switch yet until later on Tuesday, Pacific Standard Time.

The news so far is that the Switch port will run at 30 FPS, 720p docked and 564p handheld. I'm waiting to see how Digital Foundry sees it since that's always fun.

My point was people support Twitch streamers for the same reason people subscribe to GB, because people like the personalities representing the site. Just like people like Jeff, Vinny, Brad, Alex, Jason, and Jan, people like their chosen streaming gaming personalities. If you remember, members of the GB crew did a podcast episode where they talked about how Lockdown 2020 pretty much made the site like a streaming website, because all they mostly can do is stream from home... like majority of Twitch streamers.

@av_gamer: Yes I agree with all that I suppose I was speaking more about the way Twitch viewers will often throw hundreds of dollars at their favorite streamer in a single stream in a way that is unique to Twitch alone.

I'd buy the new switch just to play BotW at 60fps. I'm to that point in my life.

I'm 35 and I was towards the end of my school years by the time I encountered my first digital camera and it used 3.5" floppies (that held like 10 pictures each). I think kids would have encountered film cameras even past that point, digital cameras took a while to get cheaper.

Death Magnetic wasn't a good album but it was better than St. Anger. I think Jeff missed the mark on that joke. But it's still pretty funny and probably accurate or maybe St. Anger was too on the nose... Tell us Jeff?!

GB is nothing like twitch. I think that's what the poster meant. GB is a breed of quality content that wouldn't function the same as twitch. Jeff was thinking about streaming services since he's home, I think he mentioned it in a podcast. But if he does, then the similarities work better, cause we can send money like tips for how he's doing or something. We as a whole send money more like Netflix subs and get perfectly catered content. Jeff cant just play whatever we want via some poll, instead, he carefully picks what works best for presenting. Honestly, It functions way above most gamer stream channels this way. Thats why sending money for GB subs isn't seen as a waste vs some other donations of cash. Opinions may vary thou. I can see reasons both would be a waste or reasons GB wouldn't be as good for a few. Twitch has its place as well. Many have quit their dead-end jobs to work for twitch, though the updated streaming rules make it less of the dream 4 hours a day job and more like 11 if you want money to live off of. It's the side of twitch or streaming many overlook. I'm happier GB has hours that aren't as unreasonable, I assume, given staff's positives after leaving.

So many game-world related things discussed, and here I am still thinking about the fact that I remember using film cameras until I was like 13...then briefly had a heavy DSLR phase, and then started using them again when I was 19, and still do.
