and here's what I don't understand. You're either saying Johnny V should be given 'special treatment' because he shows on the site frequently, or you're saying that only Johnny V considers it his life's work. Do you think the Dynasty Warriors developers just slap those games out and don't give a fuck? I bet you there's tons of people who consider it their life's work, I bet there's people like that over there. I bet the same could be said for Nights, the WWE games, Duke Nukem Forever, only for Jeff to say they're 'total garbage.' Regardless of the quality of video, they clearly love their job so Jeff shoudln't be able to say that right?

But no, give Mark shit about being cynical and then go tell Jeff 'sick burn brah' when he trashes whatever the next game he deems shit is that he played for 5 minutes. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

@dragonzord: Mark and some of the people here that are trashing it are trying to make it seem like it was a game specifically designed to milk money out of parents, is totally insidious through and through, and there's nothing redeeming about the game. It is a shit product. I was simply using Johnny as an example that a lot of the people behind it actually did care pretty deeply about that game and it did have creative vision, and I would assume that Giant Bomb users would understand that. That's the only reason I brought his name up.

I'm also not saying that nobody is allowed to shit on the game if it actually does suck. Honestly, this is the first time I've ever heard people really calling it bad. Every other article I've read has called it actually pretty fun and enjoyable to play with kids, even if it's also super expensive. If the game sucks, that's fine, call it out, and if Mark plays it and thinks it sucks, well, that's fine too. But he hasn't.

Jeff actually played Duke Nukem Forever. That's why it's fun to hear him shit on it. Because he earned the right to shit on it. He suffered through it. If he hadn't, that'd be shitty too. If Mark actually plays Disney Infinity before next week's podcast and then gets on and declares it "tepid" and "dogshit" again but can actually back those words up with an informed opinion, then that's great and I'm more than willing to hear it.

The truth is I agree with Mark with the fact that I don't care a bit for Infinity (at least until I can buy an X-51 figure) or Skylanders but as soon as Nintendo does this with Pokemon I am so there.

Mighty No. 9! I'm a backer and can't wait to see how it's fleshed out. I'm not going to shit on Disney Infinity, but I don't care for it, it's not for me. The 8-4 sounded harsh before even playing it, but at least they gave their reasons why the game looks like "dog shit." Like the GB crew, the 8-4 have been around long enough to see through the BS and call them out on it.
