RE: The Last of Us' shotgun to the face, I thought the cheers were more because the violence seemed more emotionally chraged than in most games. There aren't many games where the enemies beg for their lives but you have your own survival at stake. That's why I was excited. I guess I'm just overestimating people.

Man, as much as I sometimes hate Jeff....I love him so much.

Sounds exactly like a bird we have here in the UK, not sure if it is some sort of chaffinch or sparrow or what but, I have one nest just above my bedroom window every year. They are actually bloody loud and fairly annoying unless you shut all your windows. I actually found one chilling out just inside my open window once, I looked at him, he looked at me as he slowly side stepped back outside. It was like something from a cartoon or something, so damn funny.

I think it is fair to say that PC games are still the cutting edge when it comes to technology, it's actually surprising how popular ios gaming has become considering that really. I would never have predicted it. Imagine how awesome it would be to have a high end video card/chip in a tablet?

I will always be a PC gamer at heart but I am looking forward to seeing how far we can go with tablets and phones.

I love jar time but had to cover the the three screens on the right after 5 minutes.

It annoys me when people appear somewhat indignant about games that other people like but they don't. It's OK to not like something and not understand why other people do. You can argue to talk it out but it will still go down to tastes and opinion which can't be argued with.

To be honest, I hope that they look at people besides games journalism veterans. The same people get recycled through the industry, and it gets a little stale. One of my favorite youtube personalities was talking about something similar a couple of months ago, and I thought about how good he'd be at a site like GB and how well he'd complement the existing crew. It'll never happen because he just doesn't know the right people. Anyway, hope the intern thing that Jeff mentioned works out.

I can't believe Jeff didn't know about Mutant League. I'm even more surprised he didn't know they were going to do Mutant League Wrestling.

Some very nice insight. Hadn't had the time to watch this due to personal issues, nice that I have finished it....I sent a question and he answered it without actually reading my q.

The whole changing landscape of games and Jeff's struggles with the morality of reviewing games always makes me perk up an ear so to speak. I think that this has been a most fulfilling (almost) two hours of my life and it felt like I was just having a conversation with him. I remarked, scoffed, and told my wife hey listen to this.

Great entertainment Giant Bomb. Thanks for putting yourself in that "identify" progress of information. Glad to be a subscriber - and glad to see Jeff continue to reinvent the wheel. My seventeen years of being involved in the "internet" game movement (aol faq writer, enigma gaming web designer, getting metal gear solid review copies, etc), even though I have moved on from the medium, is completely represented by the most outstanding person I could think of.

I am not sure why I love Jar-Time so much, but continue to do them. I like hearing you just talk about random stuff you are doing (getting washers installed), and your thoughts on game mechanics vs. Story/artistic/sound design.

because no one ever messages him on that site so he can devote his inbox to questions. If people sent their questions to him on Giant Bomb, he'd have to wade through all his other zillions of messages to find a scattered few questions for this broadcast. He used to use Anime Vice for questions.

I actually hear you, Jeff. In Colorado here, we just broke the temperature record for today. Record was 100 degrees in 1991, we hit 105 today. The hottest June I can ever remember and our A/C sucks.
