edit2: @danryckert my respect for the real talk in the mid and for the realization, it was very mature of you. Everybody does that to some degree so i wouldn't put it all on your father, but being aware is certainly important. Between all the dumb things you do on this site is nice sometimes to hear your smarter and more reflective side; it's easy to forget as time passes

@danryckert If your dad enjoys Crown Royal, try and snag a bottle of Northern Harvest Crown Royal. It was voted whiskey of the year for The Whiskey Bible 2016 so if you find a bottle, I'm sure he'd appreciate it. I don't know how available it is in the US but here in Canada it is nearly impossible to find right now.

I really enjoyed Dan and Paul's argument/discussion. It was certainly frustrating at times but I think Dan did a great job explaining his interests and opinions.

OK, I'm using my comment to say that was a dick move by Paul in not taking his wife to Springsteen concert

i would love to see Dan do mail delivery for a day and Paul (with, i'm guessing, lot's of hand holding) doing a quick look, opening mail and whatever it is you do...you know what? Paul is right. We should probably get that "Send Paul Ryckert Giant Donuts" kickstarter off the ground.

Is there a decent podcast app that will pull these premium podcasts? I often switch back and forth between listening off my phone and off my work PC, so something that "remembers" where I left off would be great. I'd really prefer not to install iTunes on my work PC. I've been using Overcast, which is great for switching between devices, and has a cleaner more responsive UI, but I don't see a way to add stuff from these feed there.
