Trying not to post too much info about this game but Vinny asked about the crops. I think the crops grow when you load into a new area (teleport or pass through one of the transition rooms). They have a few growth stages before they are ready but you can probably just cheese it teleporting around. The renewable crafting supply chests are also reset on area loads.

Unless the bus is jumping off a ramp, the definitive answer is no. Turns out buses don't get a magic grace period from gravity.

When the quests start piling in Alex was like we are never getting out of this room are we, the funny thing is you really could just stay there for a long time crafting, buying/selling, and getting quests done.

Dismantling to get rare component, remaking the item so the shop will carry it, buy multiple copies, dismantling them again to get multiple copies of rare components, use the components to level up shards, equipment, or make items for quests.

Sometimes quests will give you item or component that is not available at the current stage of the game.

Money is very useful, Vinny using magic so often meaning the candles are dropping mana roses instead of gold. They haven't gotten the rare weapon drop from the barber also.

Welcome Company is ridiculously good and if you upgrade it a few times you get more and more paintings. It looks goofy as hell but it will shred anything you get near

Watching Vinny's attitude to the game for the first hour of stream 1 to the crew's attitude now is fantastic.

Gotta say I really enjoy this feature. I think the game looks capital B bad for the most part (although the gameplay seems solid) but the gang and Vinny especially add so much fun to the experience.

Laughed so hard over the grave pizza section. Its handy to eat at least one meal for the perm stat buff you get as silly as it is.

When neither GBE playdate nor UPF are available to download the morning after (and probably not until Monday...) :(

This has been happening a bunch lately.

They keep poo-pooing the dialogue, but I found it to be quite well-done as compared to most other games. I mean, yes, it's a fantasy story about demons and alchemy and whatever, but they pull it off well I feel!

Vinny going around to the villagers and trading weird shit for weirder shit is great.

There are elements other than gravity at work - momentum, for one - so I don't think the opposing case is a "lol these people think buses can fly!" situation as you imply. I haven't seen the episode of Mythbusters you cite, and I'd have to reserve judgment until I saw its arguments: Skeptic Bros are not always great at...well, actual science. Besides, if the answer were immediately evident as you suggest...then a full episode would never have been required to analyze the issue, no?

(I mean, it's an obvious action-movie stretch...but I'd still want to see the work, preferably from a more reliable source, before coming down on "no" definitively.)

Just finished this game the other day; Gotta say the last third of the game really sold me on it, was having fun with it but it became my second favourite game of the year (after Sekiro) after getting the invert and acceleration abilities. If anything, they should've been given to you earlier in the game!

Fantastic game and fantastic stream, cool to see Vinny coming around on it as I was in a similar camp when I first started due to the lackluster presentation.

iirc: Bat Wings is not a material but a piece of equipment, which you may already be able to craft?

This game is such a good mix of serious and goofy. Kinda regret watching all of these instead of playing it for myself but too bad! I need my VinnyVania fix!

Vinny, you know by now if Dan says something reminds him of something, it's from wrestling (like him mentioning the spinarooni, or however you spell it)

This game is insane and a perfect game to stream.

Apparently patch either just dropped or is about to. Weirdly lots of single player game nerfs, most importantly Vinny's favorite heretical grinder is on the chopping block!

@curiosus: That got patched out. It used to be just 10 screen transitions. Now it requires actual in-game time I think.

The drummer in ac/dc was charged for hiring someone to kill his ex personal assistant / security guy. Dude was probably blackmailing him with what he knew about his life.

Then again, I'm not sure "rock star on meth tells rando 'I'd give you me bleeping car if you killed that guy' is a perfect fit for "murder for hire" charges, which is probably part of why they were dropped.

Or, maybe the dude who he asked, got a big fat check to imply the threat was less than serious.

Vinny, I strongly suggest ditching the bats ability and start investing in the homing missle if you have it. It will deal with pesky enemies much faster and much more directly without wasting so much mana like the bats does.

This is such an enjoyable series. Thanks to everyone at GB.

I love this game but it's quite buggy. I've not only had it hard crash on me, but I went to fight the train boss tonight and my character was seemingly stuck in the background, or invisible. I could do no damage to the boss and the timer ran out. It seems to hitch in random spots, and the frame rate takes a nose dive in areas with moving components like in the mine area. But damn it's a lot of fun.

This game seems bad.

I keep thinking Miram can't get more ridiculous looking, and yet each episode, she does.

Funny, Vinny thought the Pixies were friendly as long as left alone because they're cute, which is wrong.

And nobody has paid attention to the Rul'Sha in the library because she looks like a demon... when you hit her, she says "how could you?!" before retaliating. However, if you do not attack her, she will greet you, cast a 30-second buff on you and leave respectfully, anytime you see one.
