The only reason I'm buying this is because I am thirsty for some COD4 styled single player campaign and Quantum of Solace is just...

If the Nazi Zombie thing was downloadable I wouldn't even rent this game but I'll rent it and give it a try just because I really want to screw around with Nazi Zombies.

World War 2 - the war that will never end.

That guy at the end sounded exactly like Daft Punk! How did he do that?

A mod for Call of Duty 4?  Ok, now if it was went from modern warfare to the future for example, you wouldn't have said that.  It's WW2.  It's Call of Duty.  It just came out at a time where people are bored of WW2, not too long ago people were eating up WW2 games.  It's the other way around for me actually.  I love WW2 but am growing sick of modern warfare games.  All these shallow modern military shooters come out one after the other, and kids thinking their cool pretending to be soldiers killing terrorists.  Suddenly everyone's an expert.

Reviews are the one thing giantbomb is great at.  Keep it up Jeff

Great review, really gives me an insight to multiplayer which is something I'm pretty new at... well in FPS games anyway.

heaps of bugs , guys through walls, dogs jumping through walls , guys hacking left right and centre, serious lag compared to 4, shotgun some times fires three times when its only double barrel .... lots of shittttt i could go on and on

I'm also really interested in how that dude at the end manipulated his voice to sound like the lyrics from that Daft Punk track. 

World at War owns COD 4- better graphics, better story, better voice acting, more replay value, flamethrowers, bayonets, more multiplayer.

the story mode was pretty intense

Surprisingly one of the better Call of Duty's in my books.

So, so under-rated.

I think I would have just preferred if they stuck with the Pacific Theater for the campaign.
