If anything it sounds like his Mic wasn't on, or he's spending a lot of time looking away from it.

I think the original Crackdown was never as good as people said. Making it impossible to live up to expectations.

There was something off with Jan's mic in the Jump Force QL too, maybe one of the mics in the studio is too low?

I never much cared for Crackdown, but this is just sad. Not even Terry Crews can save this mess.

The changes in the crackdown 2015 vs crackdown 2019 video are just absolutely shocking. They removed ALL form of character they had and we all knew it was bullshit they couldnt puill off that level of destruction in 2015 but it is 2019 so what is their excuse? This is unacceptable that we as gamers continue to keep being sold lemons when they promise us at least a damn Prius.

I think graphically it looks better then I was thinking from reviews. but its looking a bit off in every other aspect.

I don't know if even though it's "free" on Gamepass and 6 hours (which is pretty insane) that it's even worth your time to try it out. You could spend your time doing much better things than this or checking out other games with Gamepass.

Watching this makes me want to play Sunset Overdrive? Like that feels like the sensible direction to take a Crackdown-style mobility focused shooter now. This seems like a 30 dollar nostalgia play in a 60 dollar package.

No offence to Jefff but I have a hard time taking his reviews seriously. He hates everything NOT called Call of Duty.

-Just going by QL's, that's what I thought.

Also, this needed a more logical story. He should be fighting the Agency if they are doing the rebel against the Tyrant bit, or more cynically fighting with the Agency against the rebellion.

Come on Red Faction Guerilla was able to do good destruction on last gen. How come this can't do any on the single player?

Hot take alert: Crackdown 1 on release was repetitive and too basic on release in contrast to San Andreas and even Saints Row 1. If you come into Crackdown 3 expecting it to be something more, than what about it is even faithful to the original? This is what that game was and if they think this sucks, they likely would think the original sucks now too. It's mindless, love it or hate it.

The multiplayer looks like hot garbage, the single player portion, not much better. Red Faction: Guerrilla came out almost a decade ago, 2009, and had way better destruction and gameplay. Red Faction, it is most definitely not...

Kind of surprised they're swinging for $60 on this, though I suppose it doesn't hurt to try. Seems like the kind of title that'll be $30 in 2-4 weeks.

what if the thing that was actually good about Crackdown was everyones love for the Halo demo it came with.

I had no idea this game was coming out. It looks like another crackdown game though thats for sure.

Picked up the game for the $2 fee for game pass, I'm about 4-5 hours in and having a ton of fun. I could see myself feeling like Jeff after it's over, but whatever, for $2 I can't complain.

I've been wanting to go back and play Crackdown 1 for ages and this satisfied that urge.

I liked CD 2, even with the ugly underground areas you had to clear out and it being the same city.

Though that game did have a couple of things this one doesn't, this is more of a sequel to the first game. Besides the transforming vehicles, which only the first game has, inexplicably.

As far as the campaign goes, no transforming is the only thing bumming me out with all of the videos I have watched before playing the game.

I feel like this is on Microsoft, they should have cancelled this game 2 years ago, I bet it looked bad then.

Maybe under the new Xbox Game Studios this type of game won't happen, they need to take the Blizzard, Nintendo, and Valve approach of cancelling games that don't meet a certain quality bar.

Open world environments are so detailed now it unfortunately makes the flat surfaces in this game look like a 360 game.

This seems a bit like Agents of Mayhem to me. Similar vibe, and equally as boring.
