Great episode, I'd recommend the dad podcasts Vinny, Dave and guests did a while back, very interesting listen.

I have a watch that's got a similar band to Vinny's mesh banded Swatch and I can confirm that even as a man with Robin Williams-esque hairy arms, the band does not catch and tug on my wrist. Mine's a Skagen that also has a quartz movement so it's insides are whatever, but it looks pretty dope.

I paid $35 just for this episode. I need more Vinny in my life.

That's so rad Vinny breaks out the GameBoy SP to play games with his son. That handheld is just so well designed and has so many fun games to play that I think kids would love. @vinny Make sure to get him on Ninja Five-O! maybe even...Pokemon?!

My experience being a dad of a boy that's turning 2 next week has been pretty similar. There's definitely an arc for dads where the first year to year and a half is pretty rough, but it gets a lot better. In those early days, the kid doesn't do much and especially if it's breastfed, doesn't really need (or want) dad for anything. It doesn't compare to what the mom is going through, but it's still pretty stressful to feel pretty much helpless. I was pretty desperate during the first year to be able to carve some time out for myself to play games, either getting up an hour earlier or staying up an hour later than my wife.

But then halfway through their second year they start to move around and want to interact and communicate, and things get a lot more fun. I don't play games nearly as much at the moment, and most of the time I don't really miss it.

Dang, Vinny has replaced Jeff as the most grown up bomber.

As a newer dad and an almost husband, this was a great podcast. It's nice to be validated.

This is the first time I've heard a baby described as being in "Early Access". This podcast is great!
