New demo derby, yes! I played the hell out of JC1 and 2 so can't wait to watch some of this stuff.

This reminds me how amazing 360 was in its first two years. From downloading games to playing in HD for the first time, it was the last time a console really impressed me and felt like a new generation. I had so much fun with Vegas, back when people used voice chat and were mostly civil.

Is there something wrong with the audio? Everyone's voices sound kind of noisy

Otaku won't mind much, but the rest of the world will.

I live in Halifax and had to look up to see that the "Halifax DJ Olympics" were in fact a real thing.

Xbox discs are always so bland in comparison to the Playstation nonsense. Still good to see a new DD episode, though! Hopefully that second disc appears in a few weeks.

Does the brightness/contrast seem off to anyone else? Looks way too dark in some places.

Uh I am gonna guess that a game about terrorism and shootouts in Las Vegas may not have aged well

Best buffet in vegas is at the Bachchanall in Caesars palace. It is 50 bucks to go and all the chefs are executive chefs. It is hands down the most incredible buffet and I've been to virtually every vegas buffet since I lived there for 7 years. My friends and I used to always go to different places and tried a diff restaurant every week and visited a whole lot of buffets.

Jeff pointed to the left of Mandalay Bay and said Tropicana would be there, Mandalay Bay is the end of the strip there are no more hotels past it short of smaller no name ones. Tropicana is north of dantes in the game where they are on the same side of the street. The Wynn is extremely north of them they would not be able to see it from their locwtion. The Wynn is the only other gold building besides trump tower so when the sun shines those two buildings are blinding as fuck.

I miss vegas. As I look out my window and see a foot of snow and 2 deer laying in my yard. Different worlds.

Rainbow six vegas was a great series but ravenshield is still the best tactical shooter ever made. Terrorist hunt in the first ravenshield has easily taken 1000s of hours of my life. It is one of the most satisfying games and the gun sound effects are still probably my favorite of any game. Ravenshield was the best.

@owls44: Yeah the blacks are getting crushed. Probably due to an incorrect RGB Range setting on the capture equipment.

I have zero issues with the current xbox one UI. it is similar in how it shows you what is available up top, the pins/home things work great and it loads really quickly. Am I crazy?

Some of these games still look quite good. TDU was really awesome, open world racers are the best.

For what it's worth Jeff, we totally trained blindfiring around corners in urban training during my time in the army.

Holy shit, this is the first Demo Derby disc that I actually owned!

Blindfiring works well in Uncharted. I feel like one of the only people who actually appreciates that combat in those games. There's a great rhythm that you can get into in larger encounters on harder difficulties--a mix of blind firing, running, punching, hip firing etc.
