Whoa, I was just looking at this game's wikipage yesterday... Time to check out that McKenna-Gerstmann-Lee synchronicity.

Any chance of covering the EU gaming scene from back then? There are tonnes of gems from that time that probably weren't all that well known, if known at all, in North America.

Just get rid of the HTML5 options, you guys obviously have no desire to fix the sync problems.

@HrMagni: Yes, that would be fun. It was a shocking moment when I found out that Gary is younger than me...That oxen head in the video really stirred up old memories. I played this game a lot back in the day on the Spectrum!

Later "way of the tiger" also...

I've watched all the Bombastica videos on HTML5. No sync problems.

I used to play this on the Apple II when I was like five years old but I could never get past that underground part at the very beginning. Pretty cool getting to see the end after all these years.

Another great C64 game. I feel the desire to pull mine out every year or so.

I love this feature. I kept wondering how far I got through the game as I was watching, remembering the levels as they came and thinking that might be the one, but then I remembered the next one too. I think I never beat the last boss.

When I was really young, I had a baby sitter across the street that would have his C64 set up. I vividly remember playing this game a lot. I of course didn't know it who Bruce Lee was when I was younger, but this was an awesome game for the time. Even though I was busy playing SNES games a lot of the time, I always looked forward to playing the C64 and the games he had. These old-school quick looks are awesome.

Loved that game back in the 80's quicklook made me think of another somewhat similar game Zorro for the c64. Although that has more of an adventure element to it.

I remember playing this game, even though I don't remember playing a Bruce Lee game quite like this before. Bringing back some memories from the deepest corners of my brain!

I used to play this game to death when I was a kid with my best friend. We would spend most of our time double teaming the ninja (player 2 could be the sumo wrestler) and never went into the underground areas. If you pressed down as the sumo wrestler he would do an awesome war cry. :)

It still seems weird to me that this thing exists. Always nice to discover something new though.

I really hope that he starts looking at some SNES and Genesis games soon because these extremely old games are boring as hell to watch.

I see these as more informative than entertainment, though. I actually never knew this game even existed (and that goes with pretty much majority of games that came out before I was even born), and now I know. I like that. That's just me, anyway.

That said, I'm sure there are plenty Genesis and SNES games that are more entertaining to watch than this, and Jeff will eventually get around them.

I was born in 1979. I was playing this game when I must have been 5 or 6 years old. After watching this I was pretty damn impressed that I made it to the very last boss. What sucks is it never occured to me that I just needed to haul ass on the last level to get past that damn beast!!!

First game I ever completed, with the worst goddamn joystick ever. Good times. The C64 version looks much more leisurely than the Spectrum one.
