Old Games: Encyclopedia Bombastica: Soulcalibur

I have never laughed so hard watching anything Giant Bomb as I did watching the first 10 minutes or so of this. Dan was a mad-man with absolute disregard of everything except beating the shit out of his opponent. It was great.

This was an awesome Bmbastica! The SC series was so damn fun. Thanks for this Jason and Dan.

100% agree - little to no information on the game itself, and while I can always appreciate change, the format for the last 2 Bombasticas are too similar to everything else they do.

The contempt Jason shows Dan at the beginning of the video is the best thing.

It bugs the shit out of me that the Dan/Jason cams aren't on their respective sides - Every time dan looks to his left, to the side of the webpage, I cringe.

Dan's Zoidberg impression early on was so annoying that I found it to be pure genius. We need more match ups like this.

I couldn't agree more. I had to laugh a while ago when people were going off on Dan, in particular for when he made some "game X sucks" statement... do these people hear Jeff? He does the same thing all the damn time.

It's just the style of the site. If people can't assume these are opinions and need everyone to agree with them, probably not for you.

The whole time I was like "Yeah Jason show this button mashing scrub that thinking about what you're doing leads to victories!

I doubt anyone will read so far, but quite easily the best content on the site (Phantasmagorias 1&2 included).

The Rykert-Ostrichraker rivalry is wonderful entertainment.

@gregalor: May I suggest listening to an episode of Danswers or reading his book about his anxiety? There's much more to the man and his GB persona as evident in the latest podcast.

This is so great. I can imagine Dan and Jason standing next to each other at an old US arcade shoving each other while playing and cursing up a storm.

I wish I had friends like that.

As much as I love Dan, he's maybe the sorest winner at anything I've ever seen in my entire life. Lol, if he knew he was so good/memorized so much, what's the harm in letting Jason look at the moves? Good lord
