Unfortunately, first impressions do leave a lasting impression, and the beginning of this game was mediocre. But it's getting interesting now and I'm genuinely hooked and can't wait to see what happens next.

Why the fuck didn't they pick up the items in the save room? Or bust open that crate? I hope they don't keep missing stuff like that.

Actually, the English word "trumpet" has its origins in the French language, whereas the word "trauma" has its origins in the Greek language.
So yeah, Ryan... next time don't make up stuff randomly :P

Really, because I pointed out a mistake? Oh wow, hooray for me -- I can barely contain myself from all the happiness the few seconds it took me to write that and then move on did for me.

you're right.  I really had no grounds to get irritated about that and I'm sorry.  I just felt it was self evident  that ryan was intentionally making up things that are untrue, but maybe not.  you comment shouldn't have evoked as much ire from me as it did, and I'm sorry.  You have a right to point out falsities, I'd just suggest you consider the context next time.  But yea, aside from me being self-aggrandizing, I am truly apologetic.  you have a good point.

Don't sweat it, and I'm also sorry if my reply to your reply sounded too harsh. It's just that it didn't sound all that self-evident that Ryan was intentionally making it up, but maybe he was and I just didn't notice. Anyway, I probably should've pointed out that possibility when I did my first comment. Oh well, no harm done, I guess.

Oddly enough, while listening to the whistling song, I noticed the chords and harmonies matched up to something that I felt was familiar. Then it hit me - the Super Mario World music for the first couple of areas! Seriously, try whistling it while the whistling music comes on, it sounds GREAT.

I spent all morning whistling the SMB music.. now I know why.
