A great stream. Definitely a fun one. Vinny and Dan goofing off was the best. I like this crew. Whether they're on the high seas or causing crime in San Andreas. Good times. :)

This game seems an awful choice for Dan. As others have said, he's just bored (was openly yawning several times, and whenever I looked at his stream he was fucking about/doing nothing). The problem with this, as opposed to the GTA Online stuff, is that there's a defined structure/penalty for the GTA failures, whereas this is floaty, less-defined stuff so it means there's no real punishment for not getting much done...

I remember how nauseated I felt when I first got my glasses. It was almost like a very slight fisheye effect, and it was either keep them on all day or don't wear them at all because any switching would cause discomfort. You get used to it! Seeing is excellent it turns out!

Dear Dan,

Please don’t spend every episode of Sea Beasts trying to be a Walugi-esque villain. This is not Mario Party where you’re trying to fuck over your friends; this is a game where you all work together to accomplish something. I normally find your goof-off stuff funny, but I think that schtick only works if others are laughing with you. But when everyone is working together on a mission and you just keep getting in the way it just comes off as annoying. That part where you followed Abby around turning off all the lamps that she had just turned on, I wanted to choke you through my screen. Help your friends out! And maybe try to role play more as cool-action-guy instead of annoying-villain-guy.

my fav part of this is watching dan try to find fun with it. that effectively is what this game is anyway, or it seems to be that since theyre not really running into any emergent gameplay that i see. clearly he doesnt enjoy the game but give the man credit for at least trying. alex idk if he enjoys it or not but he is definitely trying to cooperate the best he can for whatever thats worth :) backalar might be a better fit all in all than either.

Doing these fetch quests doesn't seem to provide nearly enough mechanics with enough frequency to keep 4 people continuously engaged. Dan is bored, while Alex's patience is thin and seems to just be wanting to get through with it.

It would be more interesting to have two group pairs trying to complete separate quests in parallel, that way everyone has something to do, more things would be likely to happen, there'd be an element of urgency to complete before the other group, etc.

@schindigg: Alex insisting he babysits the Boat is really ruining the experience for him. The sooner they realize that losing your boat when it has no loot on it isn't a big deal at all the better.

I feel like if the stowaway had stolen the quest items, if possible, this would have been the last episode.

Why is Dan even a part of this feature? His face says it all throughout.

Dan is not great at pretending to care about things. He's either hyper-competitive or completely complacent. Would be nice for him to perk up a bit and play along during these sorts of features.

It's bad enough he's on the podcast nearly every time. Having him on this would make it a no-watch.

I love you Beasters, but this game is exceptionally boring to watch 90% of the time imo. Hope you play something else! You already have a co-op feature, but I'd be down for Abby Plays RE4 or something. Anything.

1) I miss Jeff

2) Please try using all the clues in the book rather than just picking an island based on "it's big"

3) Give Dan a rowboat so he can go try to steal from other ships, that would be fun to see

Sea Beasts is the first time I have felt actual cringe watching Dan fuck around with the other guys and them telling him to stop, but he keeps doing it. Dan, I love ya, but my god you're almost acting like a misbehaving child. :/

Why didn't Alex help Vinny and Dan when the guy was on the boat instead of just following Abby who was just turning in a quest?
