Between Xcom 2 & Battlefront 2 the bombers have done a grape jorb putting over games that stumbled out of the block but hit their stride a year later to become awesome

As others have stated podcast feed for the ad supported one is broken. But the premium one plays fine on the site.

I love hearing about Xcom 2 and Vinny's journey through it.

I don't have that much time in the week so I only listen to one podcast - this one. I even stopped listening to the Bombcast in favor of the BEAST cast.

Why would I listen to any other when this is the best podcast in the known universe?

I haven't listened to the rest yet but I gotta respond. If you built a big iron sculpture it might physically be able to last but someone is definitely going to sell it for scrap somewhere along the way.

In my city growing up there was a problem where people were stealing crappy cars and driving them straight to the scrap yard to get like $50.

If if you built built a big rock monument someone would probably just steal it and make kitchen counter tops out of it.

Boooo! had to look up that super bowl jump, all i found was articles telling me how it was an illusion and the jump was pre recorded. Podcast made it sound cool.

Anywho, thinking about the X-Com 3 talk from last week (they were just thinking about what it would be, not that there any info out about it), and I think that the next X-Com will be kind of like a Doom X-Com that plays fairly similar to the last two (like 2 or 3 new systems, but no major changes). In the sense it will be against a cosmic horror like force. My reasoning for this (and why I disagree with the guesses that it will be an invasion focus game) is 1) They haven't done invasion/attack system before. And to do those, would require a totally different flow to the game. You need to be able to set borders, take areas, etc (if you don't have that stuff, you aren't going to feel like you are winning a war, as much as choosing which areas to mine for resources). And that isn't at all like what they have done before. And 2) I think they are doing a Good, Bad, and Ugly flow to the series. The first X-Com was good (we win), the second was Bad (we had lost), so the third will be Ugly (cosmic horror-ish).
