I do miss Mixer :(. I also miss Groove, Microsoft's spotify/itunes competitor, which they had integration for on FH3. Had custom playlists and stuff. But then that died before FH4. And then Mixer died before FH5. Microsoft clearly learned their lesson and stopped integrating their products into Forza loll. Damn shame, though.

That's a strangely unflattering thumbnail. Makes it look like a PS3 game almost.

Ok hear me out. What if they made a game that plays like this but you deliver stuff in a semi like in American Truck Simulator? Anyway this looks good cant wait to play.

@meierthered: My best friend has only ever enjoyed arcade racing games. Literally hated every game that even brushed with simulation racing.

Then he tried Forza Horizon 4 and clocked up a couple hundred hours lol.

I'd say FH is the series to play if you aren't super into racing but want to feel immersed in it nonetheless.

Why is that thumbnail so bad? Looks like the graphic settings are on low.

Looking forward to this so much but gotta make my way through a lot of FH4 first.

@bakoomerang: it's definitely pronounced "poo-zhoh" but I have sometimes heard Brits pronounce it closer to "pur-zhoh".

I've been waiting for this game for quite a long time and really excited to play it. Due to some crashing issues I couldn't play the 4th one, so the similarities to it don't really bother me either. Looking forward to a game where I can just chill out and mess around without having to think about anything.

My favorite thing about Horizon is how everything is made out of cardboard.

Also, the idea that Mexico would have roads of that quality is hilarious.

If my dad were still alive, he would be IMMENSELY pleased that one of the first things mentioned in this video is the "Chevy Nova in Spanish-speaking countries" anecdote. This may be one of the pieces of Universal Dad Knowledge I've heard about.

Someone should tell Jeff that the “Nova” thing is an urban legend. Nova is a word in Spanish, which also means nova. It’d be like saying a dining room set didn’t sell because it’s brand name was “Notable.” Because who would by a dining room set with no table?

I’ve been playing a lot of Far Cry, so I’m ready to move on from bad driving to really great driving.

Bummer that the only way the game was advertised was that it’s available on the 5th. I feel like paying to get it now defeats the tremendousness of it being on Game Pass.

As a Brit I nearly spat out my drink when Jeff pronounced it "poo" it just sounds flat out wrong... and it seems it is. Looked up the correct French way to pronounce it and it's the way us Brits have been saying it, so I don't know where you guys got "poo" from.

i really want to like these horizon games but i need to be able to just absolutely wreck my car. whats the point if i cant drive off a cliff and just absolutely fuck up a ferrari? it doesn't have to be beam.ng but i need more.

Am I dumb for thinking this game would look better graphically? I mean it looks great but not much of an improvement over 4.

@xanonymouslyx: I should have treated this anecdote with more suspicion; guess it’s tougher when you hear it 500 times growing up. I’m always fascinated when an urban legend’s citations begin decades after it started circulating; it seems to become a circle jerk incredibly quickly. Good looking out!

Is this wasn't coming out so close to COD Vanguard, I'd probably have bought the Game Pass upgrade thing to play it starting today. Otherwise, since I'm COD'ing all weekend, I'll just wait to play Forza on Game Pass and then decide if I want to buy the extras.

The video seems to get very blocky when Jeff's in heavily vegetation areas, which makes me think I downloaded the wrong quality video. I'm pretty sure I got the HD video, but this seems like the sort of game to trip up that stuff for recording.

@bezieh: It looks kinda clunky on this video for some reason. I'm playing on the Series X and for me it's a deifnite improvement over Horizon 4. The graphical detail is quite impressive.

Love the 20 min version on youtube. Hopefully the full quicklook goes there too. YT is way easier for me to stream videos on mobile than the website tbh.

It would actually be amazing to play a racing/driving simulator with this complexity of environment. But there is just zero relation to actual driving in this.

Also all the menus and unlocks remind me of genshin impact
