Your load times seem way longer than they should be.

But all the side content of this game is so far ahead of what was in HR that it's a pretty good balance.

There's definitely something up with your PC with the amount of time it takes to load, and the way that it was stuttering towards the end.

The obvious thing to look at would be a fragmented/slow/failing HDD—though I don't know how much of this issue may just be caused by PC games not being optimized to run off an HDD any more.

But with the way it was stuttering right at the end, you might also want to look into the amount of RAM you have. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is very memory hungry. Not sure what you have but 16GB or more is recommended for most games these days.

Could have been VRAM too if you were using ultra textures/settings on your GTX 980s, as they have 4GB available (SLI doesn't increase the total available VRAM) but I would have expected to see problems appear sooner if that was the case.

A tool like MSI Afterburner (which does not require an MSI GPU) can be configured to monitor Memory Usage and VRAM usage in-game via its OSD function.

As for the game, I found that it played very well with a Steam Controller since that handles the gamepad-focused UI nicely, while giving you mouse-like aiming.

After persevering with it and finding what trackpad settings work for me, I rarely ever use a dual-analog gamepad now. The only time I use my DualShock 4 is when a game really needs a proper d-pad.

But you have to be prepared to spend a few minutes setting up your key bindings at the start of most games with it, which can be too much of a hassle for some people—though that doesn't apply to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, as it has native support for the Steam Controller built in.

And for what it's worth, Nixxes still haven't fixed the mouse aiming yet.

The sensitivity is jacked up so that even the lowest setting is very high, and the smallest movements jump in relatively large steps rather than moving smoothly like other games.

At least Nixxes fixed X and Y movement having different sensitivities—something that they never fixed for Tomb Raider 2013—by adding a Y-axis slider.

I don't understand why they think that someone would need separate X and Y sensitivities with a mouse at all though.

Honestly, I don't know why so many people praise the quality of Nixxes' PC ports as I've had problems with every one of them that I've played so far.

I always love a game that lets you choose between a lethal path of shooting people and a non-lethal path of leaving people to die slowly and painfully from internal bleeding and brain trauma.

Did Vinny not play Human Revolution? For example, he seems clueless to the fact that Eliza is, indeed, the only mainstream broadcaster as well as to what she really is.

Giant Bomb was founded in 2008.

That's not the point - five years is a long time. I would struggle to remember facts like that over that length of time if I were playing a lot of games. Vinny's had a child, moved offices twice and home twice in that time so far as I remember. That's a lot to deal with, so I'd give him a pass on that.

Matthew Rorie's Alpha Protocol had two tracking stats that were amazing: Orphans Created and Medical Bills. Sure, I didn't create any orphans, but the medical bills were in the millions.

Why does this game suck? It reminds me of Invisible War where I'm just dumbfounded that the developers are having problems with things that already had solutions.

Why are the animations in the cutscenes so jerky and the lips aren't sync'd? It looks better at 24fps.

Why can't I disable objective locators in-game but keep them on my radar like in HR?

Why are there so many objects in the environment that I can't use as cover, despite looking appropriate (never had this problem in HR)?

Why is there an absurd amount of acceleration on both mouse and controller with no option?

Why does the character move so insanely fast? You move faster than in Mirror's Edge. This is a stealth game where your'e supposed to take your time. It feels bad to control. Again, never a problem in HR!

Ok, the game isn't bad and Invisible War is actually a great game. But both have a boatload of problems that sour the experience and it's frustrating because these were never issues in the previous game.

They should have watched the 12-minute recap, which was actually a pretty decent solution to that problem.

This should be a fun ride.

As someone who played Human Revolution when it was released and enjoyed it enough to buy the dumb ass book that came out around the same time as the game, I struggle to recall much of the story in the game, let alone the characters.

Oh holy shit Otar does kinda look like Jeff Green, doesn't he? Now I feel kinda bad about not doing his quest to the end. I disappointed Scumbag Jeff Green.

No, i posted a simple request, is that not allowed? you know an opinion.

They had a slot open they would have played something else, a hole does not open in space somehow if they would not have picked this exact one.

i also posted my comment after the video did exist, making it fairly impossible for my comment to fracture space somehow to affect it already existing on the site. making it pretty clear what time it was pointed as. ->

@zaphodi: are you drunk or something? Mems point is that there is no reason in delaying streaming a relatively new game for you, because you are free to watch it whenever you want. You can come back to this video in a years time or whenever you think it would have been an appropriate time to stream it.

Oh, I get it. You wanted to be there for the stream for some reason, so you could post in the chat or something I assume. I mean c'mon, sure you're free to ask but you know no one is going to listen to your request plus it's quite unreasonable, you can see that right?

While it is not impossible there is something wrong with their pc, my loading times in this game are actually also this long. The game is just a very slow loader on some setups.

It may be a European thing (not being sarcastic here, just possible) but I spent the first three minutes working out how to holster the gun, initially I thought I could not and it really bothered me. That really matters to me in this series! Also Mass Effect.

@nailerr: If it makes you feel any better, I played through two main levels in the new Hitman before realizing I could holster my weapons. Made that game way harder.

@dvandort: It may not have the strongest story, but on design and exploration I had a fantastic time with it. I think at least once I sat for seven hours before realising how tired I was. that's rare these days. Enjoy it!

You guys are terrible at this. You killed more people in the first few rooms than I did in the entire game haha. Very enjoyable video. I get very meticulous when playing stealth games so as soon as I get spotted or something goes bad I reload the save, it's fun to see a "Well, let's just roll with it" side to this game that I would never see otherwise.

Also the TV thing was hilarious.
