Also GBeast has the worst luck. The demo is working fine for me. Regarding multiplayer PC vs consoles, just today, someone was streaming themselve invading people with some kind of hacked weapons in DS3 on PC and getting their victimes banned. That sounds way worst than whatever weird issue GBeast kept running into.

The gaming is incidental, everyone here knows that by now. This was a lot of fun.

Also I didn't have any problems connecting to PSN while playing this Alpha. Although I've only had two sessions with it.

Having not seen it yet, Im going to say it would be great either way.

They said multiple times it is probably their internal network which makes things break since nobody else seems to have the issues they had. At this point i am willing to give the devs some slack.

More than a god's power Alex seemed to channel his inner Nicholas Cage. Some impressive faces and mannerisms during this stream.

Nioh also seems like something to keep an eye on as a Souls fan.

This is exactly why they always put warnings on these, which until now I never thought were necessary, that ALPHA means it's far from complete, and known to be buggy and broken in ways. You shouldn't take anything about this game's current technical state as set in stone or even concerning, yet.

@liquidprince: Yes its pretty common, because its distributed by Coca-Cola.

I LOVE to be that guy. Short answer about PC/PS4 is that PC often uses more open networking protocols (thus the hacking), but in most cases PS4 has to connect through Sony's infrastructure. Unless the developer is using their own server farms like Destiny.

They do manage to progress to a degree that you can get a feel for the game, but not much. I think one of the pieces they miss is that gear has equip requirements, but doesn't prevent you from using the items. Several times they say "This is way worse" on stuff that's actually better stats, but requires certainly base stats to utilize correctly.

@alucitary: I like Rogan's non nonsense approach to this stuff. The best thing about MMA is how it exposes what works and what doesn't.

I've talked with TONS of people who played the demo and these guys are the ONLY people I know of that had connectivity issues at all. That's super unfortunate the demo is quite solid.

Weird, I was in LA a few months ago and they didn't seem to have it there.
