I've played this before, and GBEast's runthrough was everything for which I hoped. Looking forward to seeing more.

@gbrading: I played Plumbers don't wear ties a week ago, when the lost PC version was discovered . It's free, and has higher quality video / audio apparently. Sadly, the one video file that was in the 3DO version is not in here, making it a FMV game without any video :D

At one point they also decided to put a blooper in the game and simply replay the scene correctly afterwards. It's real dumb :P

@gbrading: Ever since the 3DO TNT stream I've always wanted GB to play more of Plumbers Don't Wear Ties.

An FMVinny stream is one way to find out John Hurt died this year :/ With how prolific he was even in the last few years I somehow missed that completely.

e: Huh, apparently this was just released as a movie at some point. Fun fact according to Wikipedia - the game is fairly broken:

I wonder what must have been more painful for John Hurt: the 8 hour process of having his prosthetic makeup applied for The Elephant Man, or appearing in this game? I suspect the later.

"Hug the shame boy" is my new favorite euphemism.

I actually own this game on DVD, as an actual DVD you can play on a DVD player. It turns it into more of a choose your own adventure than the original game was, but the video quality is notably better.

We need more of this game

This is one of the best things this site has given us in quite some time—I was laughing pretty much constantly throughout. Something about Alex dancing to a fake commercial about a book called "I Can't Stand Myself" seems like the perfect realization of his brand. I really hope they go back to this, a desire I will admit is due in part to finding myself somewhat invested in this awful story.

RIP John Hurt, and apparently also RIP the woman who played the nurse.

@Vinny and or @Alex please get borderless gaming to make any app windowed mode full screen it will make your life easier for windowed games like this. I have to use it in nier automara because it puts a black border when I do full-screen
